Tier 11 Models Preview - Druid, Rogue, Warlock
After posting the Tier 11 Stats a few days ago I realized that I didn't do any proper preview of the existing Tier 11 models, time to fix that! This preview isn't official, stuff might be slightly wrong (Gloves and Boots might have a slightly different model, I can't really check that) but it should give you a good idea of what to expect on live servers.

  • I also included the Warrior's helm, the rest of the set is still missing.
  • Sets for other classes aren't available yet.
  • One of the recolor of the Rogue set is bugged on males.
  • I included both Pants and Robe version of the Druid set, you should just assume that the actual set will use the robe model. (They always add pants models just in case)

Druid

Rogue

Warlock

Bonus - Warrior Helm

This is great druids haven't had a good looking Tier set sense Tier6 and I never got that set. Tier10 shoulders had that mouth-like animation and that was cool but this set is just purely amazing. Love it!

Druid - the falling leaves effect is damn cool, but I am not sure what the hell the two things on the sides of the helm are. Looks cool nonetheless.
Lock - actually I love the warlock set. The helm looks like an executioner's helm, and there is nothing wrong with not being symmetric in a class that is supposed to be evil/insane.
Rogue - rogues look like djinns which I think is an interesting approach. Slightly sparkly, but the shoulder/helm vapour effect is damn nice.
Warrior Helm - looks good, just not in that color. Earth brownish would be pretty damn cool. And yes, it does remind me of T2 rhino helm.

My mains are mage+druid, and i have not played with mage helmet, since the ability to turn the hat-graphic off appeared. But the new druid hat is quite awesome, so that will get turned on.

I love the druid shoulder effects, subtle yet still noticeable.
Lock set looks like every other warlock set, but since they are all awesome, no complaints.
Rogue set looks kind of flashy, but i still like the helm.
    Warrior colour needs to change.

Obviously people have different tastes, but I personally see nothing here that makes me think 'Oh hey that looks cool'. Im struggling to see any part which looks vaguely nice.

My toons are warrior + rogue and I'd be ashamed to see my rogue wearing the xmas lights armor and the warrior helm looks a bit 'special' and quite a bit like something a kids toy helmet would look like.

I would prefer to asume that the pants version is for ferals. I'm so tired of wearing girly robes, I'm not a caster! =/

    Two things...

    1) did you expect the best looking tier set to be the very first one? they never are, leave some room for improvement.
    2) mmo-champion always shows off these sets on humans, and everything looks worse on humans, everything.

The rogue set looks very cool, but it wouldn't fit a rogue that good. I'd love to see that set on a Shaman!

Now, the warrior helm - what were they on when making it?

the rogue set is very djinn like, which looks awesome, it certainly fits the whole uldum theme.

What is exactly wrong with the tier sets? The warlock one looks awfully Twilight Cultist looking, which fits the theme of the class, the rogue look fits perfectly in the Uldum environment, the only thing about the druid set are the colors, they're very blue and white, when you think of druids you think of greens and browns, it's more shamanistic colors than druid.

As for being a human... lol sorry, but they do offer a race change option. ;P

brown druid set is Awesome! But why the lightning? It has no place there... The white and blue sets seem inappropriate.

I dont like the rogue set. The shoulders looks nice, but those blue fire effects must be lowered. Actually all flashy effects in the t11 sets so far must be lowered

P.S. The warlock one is soooo silly! The robe is ok, but the helm is like for helloween costume.

Thank god i don't play warlock, cus thats one ugly set!
  1. Milanor's Avatar
Ah, things are starting to look a little less hideous with proper spell effects.

Warlock tier is still lol but Hunter tier will be infinitely worse.

Rogue - Looks to me to be a Etereal

Warrior - Looks to me to be a Abyssal (demonic construct)

Druid sets looks like something from Aion+McDonalds menu.
    Rogues look like Neon-Lightbulb Genies.
    Warriors... ugh, Lord Marrowgar fetuses.

Still, mage sets would be either the most awesome sets ever produced, or (99%) it'll be abomination that shouldn't be ever released.

I'm as disappointed as I can be.

I expect that Blizzard will not make sets that look awful, primitive, made by noones. Ask one of their top modellers, whether they would write down their names next to these T11 sets. I don't really think so they will. There are fanboys who say awesome to everything whats coming towards them (wiki check: Cognitive dissonance) and there are ppl, who want to see normal looking sets and can't be fed with SHIT. Most of the people play WoW because you can own beautiful looking - virtual - things. No matter what I don't care if its called dungeon set, Tier X, or Muhammad "I'm hard" Bruce Lee, I WANT TO SEE GOOD LOOKIN, THEN AWESOME LOOKING, AND AT LAST UBER MUDAFAKABITCH LOOKIN SETS __ALL THE TIME__. I don't wanna look like a clown, a beggar, a fuckin nobody, because these are the first tier sets in Cata. If you like shit, eat it, I won't.
