Patch 4.2 - PTR Build 14040

Man all these incomplete datamines are putting bad impressions for everyone.

Put this on the list of reasons why they lost a huge chunk of subs.
This armor Is simply gorgeous, I've never seen anything so Inspirational, It sparkles with "Half Arsed Design"

man, all this rage going on over the staff and paladin nerfs... everyone is missing the real travesty here: that druid helm.

Oh cool, another druid tier helmet that won't look right on half of the classes that can use it.

LOL, the legendary staff item level makes me think "Item Level 404 Not Found"

Looks like the Firelands will have 8 bosses instead of 7, since there are 8 boss icons on the map.

The announced bosses are:

Beth'thilac, the lava spider
Ryolith, formerly named Anthrycist
Shannox
The phoenix
A boss using that Overfiend model, can't remember his name
Fandral
Ragnaros

These 7 bosses have all been announced, and in fact, there's pictures of them on the official WoW site.

But who is the eighth boss, you may ask.

Blizzard said that the warrior T11 will have the face of a boss on his shoulders.
The shoulders were datamined, and they look nothing like Ryolith, but they do resemble the face of a molten giant - the set is even called Molten Giant
Wowhead datamined an updated molten giant model.
Conclusion - the unannounced boss behind that portal is probably the molten giant.


TL;DR - Firelands will have 8 bosses, since Blizzard probably changed their mind and decided to add another one.

First you should probably figure out what data-mining is and what that means in regards to items being complete and finished. Second, crit isn't even Fire mages best stat. And finally, even if crit is the worst stat possible for every single caster spec it doesn't matter because the primary stats (int/sp) and whatever the proc ends up being will make up the majority of the dps from the staff. Secondary stats are just that, secondary, particularly in the case of a legendary weapon. If you can't see that then that's alright because you probably won't ever see the staff in your character screen either.

Lol that druid helmet is amazing.

I like the druid set :O It's very tree-like and fits me as a Resto. I really hope the shoulders are branchy/treelike as well. Wonder if it'll show some skin on female models
I'm glad the helm won't make me look bald by just being a cap. At least this one will make sense why my hair isn't showing.

Again - Blizzard just lost 5% of their playerbase in 4 months.... And they are catering to less than 1% with a class and spec specific item ... doing special questlines.

Really ?? Remember those are the same ppl that actually REMOVED class specific quests in game...

And its even more intresting in the day and age when a game is lacking tanks and healers.. that they add a dps staff.... Game needs dps ranged magic casters lately ?

Fact... less than 0.2% of the playerbase will get this item before next expansion is out. And BLizzard spent HUGE amount of time catering to them - seeing 5% of the entire subbase quit after 3 monhts.... Yesh really - this is what WOW has become. Totally and utterly blind devs that have lost all touch with their game and the playerbase.

they lacked healers and tanks last expansion and the weapon at the end was a dps melee weapon.
DPS casters haven't had a weapon since vanilla, we're allowed to have something special too, why should only healers and melee get a legendary?

Tauren druids are now twice as horny.

How about focusing questlines on each class ? To much work to think about 100% of the playerbase ? Seems so...

i definitely hope there is going to be an on use or proc ability or else it will be terribly underwhelming
