It's a guy getting cut in half by a sword (the big red thing is the sword, covered in blood).

I always thought it was some kind of axe! In fact whenever I see certain icons in a larger image I sometimes think "-That's- what the icon is?! After all these years I had it wrong?"

Anyone else had this? >.>

My eyes have been opened.
I could swear disarm was some weird looking axe and recklessnes was a chopper moving blades view from above.

Rogue spells are pretty straightforward, I never looked too closely at shadowstep. I always assumed it was a weird curved dagger with a motion blur. Turns out it's a hooded dude.


It's also impossible to tell what Elusiveness is in game, it looks like a yellow blur. I had to look it up on wowhead to find out it's a hooded rogue that's parrying an attack.


EDIT: Got a couple more. Who knew the icon for Prey on the Weak had a snake in it?


Anticipation (previously slaughter from the shadows) also just looks like a blur in game, I thought it was a close up of some guy's eyes and nose in weird lighting. It's a shadowy dude with a bloody knife.

That WW icon just blew my mind o.o, I had never seen that before.
There are a few icons that had the same effect on me. It took me quite a while to notice Judgement was a hammer slamming something like a Judge would.. The Crusader Aura icon never seemed a horse either, always looked like a bird type thing to me xD. Recognizing the 'The Art of War' icon as a sword also took me a while.

Art of war bugged me for a while. I just wrote it off as 'Smithy' from Mario RPG.

It's a purple/red sword being cleansed/Disenchanted/enchanted to a red/purp sword

It's a purple/red sword being cleansed/Disenchanted/enchanted to a red/purp sword
