I think you seem to be the one making it far more of a Partisan issue. Because what I said was just plainly facts.
Right Sexual predators = Assholes.
Left Sexual Predators = Assholes that pretend to be on their victims Side.
Both assholes. At least when I see a Right-Wing predator I can basically think to myself "yeah that makes sense"
This thread is an example of how quickly the left flips its supposed 'values' in favor of whataboutism; and the people doing this have the same mindset as those, who if given absolute power like in the leftist regimes of the 20th century, would perpetually believe they were only one more mass execution away from attaining their utopian socialist paradise.
Most people would rather die than think, and most people do. -Bertrand Russell
Before the camps, I regarded the existence of nationality as something that shouldn’t be noticed - nationality did not really exist, only humanity. But in the camps one learns: if you belong to a successful nation you are protected and you survive. If you are part of universal humanity - too bad for you -Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
I guess then you could say
Right=sexual predators who want to take away their freedoms.
Left=Sexual predators who pretend to be on their side.
Both sides are assholes when they overlook shitty behavior. I'm sure glad I didn't support a candidate like that for President.
How are sexual predators pretending to be on the victim's side? The only side they are on, is the one to ensure that no one will believe them, due to their public persona, or using their power to silence them. You have already checked off the first box when it comes to believing the man in question, it's only a matter of time for you to appeal to their status as a reason why they wouldn't sexually assault someone.
So when Trump reached a settlement with one of his victims, he essentially convicted himself then as well? If we're going to not count settlements, then apologies shouldn't count either. They could just be apologizing in hopes that it will go away quicker.
I don't believe that but the argument could be made. I personally think Trump is just as fucking guilty as the rest, but for some reason his supporters don't think the same rules apply.

There have been multiple accusations by many women. He's also on audio admitting to barging into dressing rooms of pageant contestants in order to sneak a peek. One of his accusers was 15 at the time. Do you want the list of his accusers?
Thanks for proving my point for me.
It doesn't stop at Hollywood. Right now, the media frenzy on the subject is an exercise in schadenfreude, and little else, because who doesn't like seeing famous people taken down a notch? The reactions range from "good, he was a scumbag anyhow" to "Jeez, who could have seen *that* coming?" Either way, society views the fallout as quite entertaining.
The problem is this: If you truly want to change social behavior, making examples of noted individuals doesn't really cut it. Over the past decades, drunk driving rates were not lowered by watching stars get in trouble for it, they were lowered by common folk getting busted for it continually. And you can be sure that everyone currently cheering what's going on now will change their tune very quickly when they, or someone they know, gets fired from a job based on nothing other than a claim of improper behavior 10+ years ago.
Let's see how consistent folks are in their viewpoints then. In the meantime, I'm working on "Hands Up, Don't Accuse" t-shirts. They're going to sell like hotcakes.
These are not being judged in a court of law all we have is the word of the people involved, in the case of Trump and Roy Moore they have done a pretty shitty job at defending themselves. You don't have to admit guilt outright when you can't give an unequivocal denial without badly faltering.
