Thumbs down Out of control! Antorus normal be 945 and ahead of the curve Antorus or no invite

Ok guys, this is just first week or raid.

It feels like WoW = ilvl. Nothing more.

Something must be made by Blizzard to fix this problem. If you play one char, you probable don't have it, but if you play more, this is unacceptable.

Is not the first time when happens, this problem persist.

Be it ilvl, achievements, mythic+ score, gearscore etc, the community will always find a way to make the run as faceroll-y as possible.

Sucks but the only real solution is to either make your own group and risk that ppl know what to do or join a guild.

This ilvl is pure bs, i've seen peoples with high ilvl in m+ performing really bad, and vice versa. Sure agree it ads up to raid dps or heal, but also dead played ads nothing.

  4. #4
If only there was a way to play with the same people every week. Like a raid guild or something.

and its blizzard job as devs to ban the fuck out of all addons which let this happen.

  6. #6
Sure, but without some addon that tracks how the majority actually play (pls god nobody actually make this), ilvl/ach is a quick and convenient way to check people know what to do/can carry their weight.

I agree the requirements are pretty often massively excessive relative to the actual content, but it is what it is. People want a quick, painless pug, everyones in a rush these days.

No argument from me, they contribute so much toxicity to the community.

This will dissipate after all the serious groups have their trinkets. Or it won't dissipate really, but the mythic peeps won't be doing it anymore for trinkets, so the pool of available people will decline a bit.

welcome to legion titanforging removing any final links between ilvl and player skill, hype for bfa when titanforging continues

Supply/demand. If there is an ample supply of players 945 and higher looking to PUG, why would a leader actively take players with less?

How many awful runs have you been in where people leave after 1 wipe? Leaders try to avoid this and the only real way to actively benefit your odds of not having that happen, is to make an ilvl requirement. If you think this is wrong, start your own group and bring players of the ilvl you think is reasonable. Perhaps afterwards you will begin to understand. Putting a group together takes work and no one wants that work to lead to failure.

So you want them to remove achievements? Or hide ilvl in the group finder? I'd love to hear what your actual solution is.

I disagree here, you probable don't remember all those years with ninja looters, and took Blizzard only one thing to do to solve the problem: personal loot.

Nothing new, been like this for years, titanforging isnt even the cause. Just make your own group or join a guild.

As said already in this thread, and thousands of times before with complaining threads like this - Make your own group.

I would guess that was probably a troll and not a real group. We did one of those last week (something like be 950, have mage tower appearance, skype and discord, be pro, etc.), it was hilarious to realize nobody who applied to join the raid met the requirements, and many were obviously not even reading the description. Even some 890s tried to join.

Maybe because pug groups are made up of people only out to serve themselves first and foremost?

If you want to run content at reasonable ilvls and with people caring for others, join a Guild matching your aspirations.

10 years this discussion is still going on. People still don't understand this game is meant to be played with friends and in guilds.

Pugs have always been cancer. maybe you are better than your achievements or ilvl, but those are the only metrics people have to filter right now.. and they can do it, why? because people with those achievements and ilvl are queuing for their groups ahead of you, supply and demand.. that's it.

Flawed, yes it is... but deal with it, you decided to play the game that way while there are much better ways to do it.
