I liked this season, it's still one of the best shows on TV at the moment. If Karl doesn't die that's going to be lame.

Please, can think of a few shows that have been out this year or have new seasons coming out soon off the top of my head that makes the walking dead look like the CGI deer and tiger in the show aka dogshit awful.
Westworld, black mirror, stranger things, game of thrones(pre s7), castlevania, Ozark, South Park, mindhunter, Mr Robot, Supernatural.
Have a feeling something like this could happen. Make everyone think they kill him off, sort of like the Jon Snow situation. He's literally the main character, if anyone has plot armor, it's him. I hope they just kill him off, even though the story will be butchered with him gone.
It will be ok carl can just turn up again under a garbage bin

Apparently Poppa Riggs didn't like the call either.

"Watching Gimple fire my son two weeks before his 18th birthday after telling him they wanted him for the next three years was disappointing," he wrote on Facebook (via Hollywood Reporter).
"I never trusted Gimple or AMC but Chandler did. I know how much it hurt him. But we do absolutely know how lucky we have been to be a part of it all and appreciate all the love from fans all these years!"

Poor guy.
On the plus side, starring in such a huge show should - in theory - make it easy for him to secure contracts elsewhere. To be honest it seemed like Carl's character received less and less focus as time went on. He was a lot more prominent in the early seasons. I suppose it's only a matter of time before Michonne is killed off when it's time for the plot to break Rick a little more.
He's either dead for real and they just messed up a bunch of future story lines or hes going to pull through and people are going to rage at the fake out.
Somebody fire this idiot Scott Gimple... I know Marraza was idiot too but atleast he knew HOW to show badass Carl. Gimple's Carl is emo whiner and lame. I miss Carl from season 3...
PS Also Rick with FUCKING gun run outs from Negan with baseball bat... Writers are fucking morons.

PS AMC should fire this fucking cunt Gimple. Even Season 2 was more interesting than this shit we have now. Gimple just too much love to suck Negan's dick. I mean he (Gimple) killed Carl as excuse to make Rick spare Negan... What a fucking stupid moron.
I am fucking can't... So disappointed.

To be fair, the Negan ridiculousness is present in the comic as well. He's spared at multiple points for flimsy reasons. I think he'll be killed off in the show, though, since Carl being alive is a large part of Negan's story-line after his capture.
aawww crap, there goes out my theory that he got someone to bite him to make it seem like he's gonna die but the bite did get infected and that's a none-zombie fever and he's gonna pull through (thinking back to him looking at the JSS letter)
I honestly thought that they were gonna pull another "glenn under the dumpster" moment but this throws that theory well out the window =/
Interviews could be fake to generate buzz regarding the show. "Hey pretend we killed your off for real and it was a surprise and you are pissed off about it." I doubt that is what happened but its a possibility. More then likely they just screwed up the future story lines by dropping a really important character and messing with peoples motivations.
Ya there is no chance of a "Glenn under the dumpster" moment here.

He may be alive one or two episodes when the mid-season starts back up. But as it stands he is 100% dead.Revealing that he had been bitten on the ribs a few episodes prior, Carl Grimes — Rick's teenage son, who has been played by Chandler Riggs since the show's pilot — is on death's door. "Yes, Carl is going to die," Riggs tells The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive interview. "There's no way he can get back from that. His story is definitely coming to an end."
I don't know much about the comic's story beyond this point but from what I keep hearing this death 100% fuck's it up.

Oh I know, like I said they COULD change things to make it fit, but this changes quite a bit. I was wondering if their plan was to end it after the next season when I heard Carl was dead. If they keep going I feel they will need to deviate from the comic to much which hasn't been the shows forte.
