Now o days the average player is not making nearly as much. If you putt in the effort you can still bring in these numbers, but it requires actual effort now. Not logging in for 1-2 hours a day doing jack shit and swimming in gold.
lol what? you're not making 1m per month with just above 2 characters. more like 5-6

on topic, I'm assuming that this mount will be the gold sink. Probably a 4 person mount

Give me an Ur'zul with all the faces of the dead heroes of Azeroth. Arthas, Garrosh, Tirion, Uther, Kael'thalas, Cho'gall....etc. all smashed into one grotesque flying meatball.

Anyone who wants alot of gold can get it easily with a little research/playing in a way which is gold positive. Most just dont seem to care too and thats their choice. I know the last week or so im averaging 10k+ per day doing order halls (2characters and abit with a 3rd), LFR/LFD and world quests. Im on holidays so spending more than usual playing but im also not going crazy farming gold either. I dont really need AP or resources so I focus on gold rewards or primal sargerite world quest rewards as they are worth the most (1x sargerite = roughly 400g at the moment via the trader).

So 10M is the gold cap? I forgot about that. Is that at the battlenet account level or the WoW account level?

I'm at like 5.5M and just getting my alts started, I might have to actually buy something at some point. It won't be the damn spider thats for sure.

Character level. 10 million per character. Gold cap has always been character level. There is no account level gold cap.

And I answered that this is NOT a gold sink as people who buy this mount make this kinda gold in like 15mins ah playing.

So they're sinking the other players gold into the sink. Still a vendor gold sink like the others working as intended.

That would make a great mount, I hope it's that!

No, you couldn't. Making up stats doesn't help prove your point.

There should be a mount for BfA for Gold Cap, and on top of that, non account wide. Or, a non-account wide item for almost 50%+ of gold cap amount, lets say a Glamour Set, or a Title.

And not to raise gold cap, ever.

  12. #32
Or, how about a Transmog Top Hat, that is Shining gold! for 10m gold.

A Gold Cap, for the price of the gold cap!

If the Brontosaurus mount is it, I will buy it.

Giant necked dino with vendors and shit on it. Just amazing.

Is there any chance Battle For Azeroth will have a similar high-cost mount for the rich players out there? Something in the order of 10-20 million gold? What could it be? The widow was great and there haven't been any other spider mounts, so a similar mount would have to be similarly unique.
Unlikely the bump up the gold cap again or at least not anytime soon. They can only go so high with the price too and not look like crazy greedy bastards as it is. Gold has a dollar/eruo amount linked to it now thanks to the token. Just the spider mount is just under 260 dollars and 160 euros if you bought all the gold. People think cash shop prices are bad you could buy all the cash shop mounts for that.

It does remove 2 mil from the server. Granted, thats just a drop in the bucket now.

Honestly, if blizz REALLY wanted to drain servers of gold, they'd just up the popularity of the BMAH. I barely even check it nowadays because almost nothing is EVER on there, and if there is, its a pet or some shit. Up it to like 10 items, with a constant rotation, and you see inflation go way down.

Set up may be more, but you don't really even need to log in anymore, phone app can do most of it. Just log in when you need to turn your bloods in for OHR
