The Fel physically alters your being in an irreversible way. It's possible the void does the same, but we haven't been told one way or another yet.

However, the Fel physically alters your DNA, whereas the void mostly alters your mind. We don't know if it would alter the mind of an unborn child, and an unborn child MOST CERTAINLY would not have the mental capacity to fend off the void.

They are not 2 different elven races.

If 2 high elves make a child, its a thalassian elf.
If 2 blood elves make a child, its a thalassian elf.

If a blood elf and a high elf decide to have children, again, its just another thalassian elf.
