I have been in counseling enough that I could dodge it with "mental health issues" but if the war came home, idk if I could just sit back and watch.

I oppose mandatory military service, so I would simply leave if they wanted to force me back into the military. It wouldn't much matter who is starting the war. If I happened to believe in a cause enough, they wouldn't need to conscript me.

There is absolutely no way a draft would ever happen again. But hypothetically if one did, I have a feeling a large portion of citizens would refuse/dodge. Not like the Trump administration has a great reputation to begin with, but once people's fathers/sons begin being imprisoned en masse for refusing to be sent to war, there will be a tremendous amount of civil unrest. Probably more than we're seeing now

It would heavily depend on circumstances. If it's some ideological Boogeyman like in Vietnam or Korea then no, if there are foreign combatants on our soil then of course.
