Fist Weapons?!

I noticed that some classes/specs now use different weapons in BFA. I have seen fist weapons for shamans, and was wondering if fistweapons are comming to Rogues again? Like can i go back to outlaw with fist weapons? And does anyone know if Frost DK can use 2hander again?

Rogues will more than likely be able to use all weapons they previously could. Fist weapons, axes, swords, maces and sub and assassination can go back to using daggers. hardi har har... (pretty sure i could do the same mutilate move with swords as daggers!)

Dk on the other hand. They sorta changed all skills to require dualwielding. So i would not see them go back to 2handers. But i know a lot of people want to.

Rogues never lost fist weapons, you were just forced to use a sword or dagger for the expansion. If there are fist weapons that shamans can use then Combat can use them too.

Fucking hate being FORCED to use fist weap as a WW monk (or elemental shaman), there is NOTHING good to tmog those shit stains!
The only thing I can stand playing with is the mage tower appearance for my monk but that's it.

They need to allow us to transmog fist weapons to 1h swords/maces/axes...

Shaman have been able to use fist weapons though...? Not sure why this is new to people. Imma assume there's some Legion babies out there who never leveled and never knew their class could equip other weapons besides their artifact ones.

I mean we have giant magical bags of holding we carry tons of crap around on so fist weapons magically appearing out of thin air isn't that far of a stretch in a world of both magic and technology...

Fine. You can get every fist weapon that ever drops for me if I would never have to use them on my characters.

It's just stupid locking classes/specs that could use almost every weapon onto one specific type with no chance in transmogging over them.

(Back)Stabbing someone with a dagger requiring daggers is perfectly fine because you can not STAB someone with a mace but classes WITH a choice should be able to USE that choice, yes this counts for transmog aswell.

What's happening in Legion is far from being changed but I hope for less strict transmog rules in BfA.
For fuck's sake I can transmog a sword into a staff but no fist weapon into a (1h) sword?!

See this is a completely understandable point we can agree on, but just straight up saying there is no good transmogs for said weapon type just seemed a little over the top.

I too look forward to being able to transmog fist weapons as a rogue again.

Though I do think some of the new class ability animations won't look as good with unusual weapons. The outlaw ones for example are very clearly built with long swords in mind.

yeah this kind of sucks they made the sound and the animations based all around a temporary weapon lock for one expansion and apparently they have no plans on changing that. if it's one company that can afford to not cheap out on that stuff it's Blizzard. and what to they do?

Nobody cares about the non-realism of the game, that's the god damn point of Video Games.
The fact that fist weapons, which have to be equipped ONTO the fist to use, is pulled out of thin air .. is a dumb concept.
They made it so bows can go on the back now.. So why can't fist weapons always be shown on the damn FISTS!?

In TBC pvp fist weapons were my favourite weapon. They looked, and still look pretty badass.

Yes, rogues can use fists and they will drop in bfa. Personally I think they are hideous though. No on frost 2h. No on SMF warrior. No on dual wield survival. No on 2h windwalkers or dual wield brewmasters.

Assassination requires daggers in both hands to mutilate. However outlaw can have a dagger offhand and sub can have a dagger mainhand and still function.

^ Blizz please fix this when I put my fist weapons away I want them like sheathed on my characters back or hip or something because I damn sure my monk and shaman are not happy keistering a spike knuckle duster.
