Maybe they should take one spot away from North America and one from Asia and then give both to Africa.

I think both those could lose a spot but when the WC are going to increase the amount of teams we will see more nations from Africa. Then again we will also more of these really bad teams. I'm not sure what the right solution is.

Good start, 3-0 is what I predicted. Panama is a weak team and we weren't very efficient against them. But this is what we had to do, so first mission accomplished.

Guess you don't know how CONCACAF qualifying works? I'm not saying they got lucky with their group, I mean CONCACAF as a whole is one of the easiest regions to qualify in because they get three spots.

Start of tournament is always difficult, especially against a team that just defends. First half was poor. Second half some Belgian players showed their class and wrapped up the game.

Lukaku and Mertens are far beyond ordinary, get real. Witsel, even though he plays in China, is also a crucial player to make this Belgian squad work.

He is decent. Above ordinary, I agree but not a player I would have starting for Spain, as an example, if he was eligible.

I doubt we'll see anything that can top that shit. It was one big theatrical drama that would have you wondering if you bought tickets for some 17th century themed musical.

Not the best of performanes but I'll take the 3-0, the goals were good. Gonna need to up their game though if they wanna beat harder opponents.

Performance aside, at least you won your match unlike half a dozen of the teams that were expected to win.

Yeah. Really need to win vs Tunisia, because depending on how England play tonight, I can see them beating us unless we actually turn up properly.

It will be interesting to see if Martinez continues with Carrasco as a left wingback against the better teams, especially ones with good wing play. Better coaches will exploit that

What I have a gripe with is how he plays De Bruyne, he's played too far back, compared to how he's played at Man City. I think it frustrates De Bruyne a bit.
