Folly and fakery have always been with us... but it has never before been as dangerous as it is now, never in history have we been able to afford it less. - Isaac Asimov

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. - Orwell
No amount of belief makes something a fact. - James Randi
Edit: Correction, I just re-watched the clip and the journalist actually did address the Ukraine question to putin. Trump just stood there smiling stupidly and allowed the "minor offense" of an old fashion landgrab and war of aggression to be quickly glossed over before quickly moving back to his main "no collusion" point.

I watch all sides in Russian politics; for most of those who can feasibly get majority in "truly democratic system", i'm pretty sure you would prefer Putin, despite all his flaws.
Some minorities can be more to your liking, but then it wouldn't really be "democracy" if they would got to govern.
A lecherous man who sexually assaults women, who steps out on his wife with prostitutes and porn stars, who is too rich to understand what it means to be a regular human being, but still manages to inflate his wealth by adding an extra zero or two at the end, who lies 100% of the time, who goes bankrupt all the time and can't run businesses, who doesn't pay what he owes to people, who builds huge monuments to himself that turn out to be complete garbage on the inside, who is on a leash of a mass-murdering ex KGB dictator, who admires genocidal dictators and other strongmen of the world, who dodged the Vietnam war several times on made up reasons, who insults war heroes, who questions the law enforcement and military of his own country, who spends most of his day on Twitter, tweeting nonsensical bullshit, who has no grasp of the English language, whose IQ is very low, sad, who calls Europe an enemy, who calls Canada an enemy, who calls the press an enemy...and countless other things that I could list but I think you get the point by now.
I don't think that is representative of Americans.
So beyond their election talk, did they actually discuss anything meaningful? I've read something about Syria, but what about the INF treaty, New Start, Ukraine, Crimea, Eastern Europe, China, North Korea? etc.

i see cnn broke out the widescreen headline to bash on mr trump. i would assume by now they would have the understanding that this president doesnt cave and say things just because people think he should. huffington post seems even more upset though. they say me trump 'sells out' because he held both countries 'responsible'. a clear nod to the blame that mr obama and his administration hold over the matter due to their inaction and improper action. but why would huffpo react this way i wonder. even top democrats have spoken about the obama administration failures in this matter and their responsibility. adam schiff criticized the failings himself in a lengthy speech. but huffpo seems to be quite 'triggered' that mr trump would bring this fact up. id love to ask them why they think this is 'selling out'. but neither are as bad as what the new york times did. they dropped a distasteful and homophobic and possibly pedophiliac cartoon about trump and putin being 'forbidden lovers in a teenagers bedroom'. quite sad.

Correction, I just re-watched the clip and the journalist actually did address both questions to putin at that time. Welp, seems the summit is going as badly for Putins bitch as anyone with a working brain cell figured it would.
