I don't believe this is correct. They've had launches at the same time across the US and at a different same time across EU (And I assume the other major regions). So US was 12:00 am PST and EU was 12:00am...some EU timezone time.
Now it's all going to be exactly the same time, which is new.

This is the first time in WoW's history that an expansion has gone live at the same moment in every region. They've done midnight releases in the respective regions before, but for this expansion, its going live around the world at the same time. Yes there is a reason to it: Maintenance

It would be completey retarded to have maintenance in the middle of the day as an EU Player, that's why they gotta postpone it for like half a day.

The map showed that the release time is still midnight... so nothing changed, If something changed then the release time would not have been midnight
