Yeah game runs and looks incredible, didn't think it would look much better then bf1 as that already looks amazing but it does perhaps not that big of a difference compared to bf 4 to bf1 but its there. Frostbite engine keeps on delivering.
Do you hear the voices too?

This pleases me greatly. Was really hoping the great performance of BF1 (my 970 can run it at 1440p near maxed out with narry a hitch usually) would continue to carry over even with more visual improvements, glad that's apparently the case.

Yes BF always tried to be realistic but has cut corners now and then. And now for some people it cut too many corners and they won't buy it.
The dismissive attitude of some gaming-blogs and some developers probably didn't help.

Where is the problem? People don't like the game and they won't buy it. Some people are acting as if everybody has to buy it because it's so inclusive or anything.
And besides, shouldn't all the newly gained female gamers more than replace the history nerds that won't buy it?
Problem is this is gona happen:

As Ea loves using out-rage tactic this days. People just forget.
    Don't sweat the details!!!

I was trying to see how to access the open beta, but couldn't find it unless I subbed to "EA Premiere.."
I only played for about an hour....Had a ton of fun. Some glaring bugs, mostly in animations...but it ran really well too. Feels like it was optimized really good. It's open beta now...what you saw was probably 2 days early of beta access(EA Premiere got 2 days extra).

So are they actually banning words in chat like 'dlc' and 'white man'? or is it just clickbait doing the rounds?

Well, I don't see Angry Joe censoring it to troll people. Of course, he might have. You can hop over to the Open Beta and try it out for yourselves, I'm done with this game.

Question for our american posters, though, isn't this considered censorship?

I do like and had a good chuckle at the default characters in the playable beta.

Diversity team versus cishet white males.

But all in all, I enjoyed it. Then again, I can barely remember the last 'bad' battlefield game.

No reason to buy this game at launch at all:

Its still needs a half of year of polish at least.

Game ran as good as bf1 for me and looked better, all i noticed in beta was some animation bugs. Think they will do fine releasing it in november. We will see.

It's self-censorship, yes. EA is a private company and as such can dictate what you can and cannot say in their games.

You are only free of reprisal from your speech from the government, and even that has some boundaries.

they have gone batshit crazy on the word banning front. i said "With a little polish, this game might be ok." Polish is censored. So is a LOT of regular words.
