The solution is that they learn how to actually behave and how to talk with others.

In the age of the internet and social media, people are not forced into actual person-to-person interaction as much as they were before said technology exists. I remember the days before PC's were in houses, and in order to play games or hang out with people, you physically got together and interact with each other face-to-face. There wasn't any sense of "internet hero" syndrome as there is no anonymity when you're are standing next to a person, which in turn develops a person's ability to correctly behave around people over time. I think there's been a myriad of stories about how people engorged in social media, despite how many contacts or people they have on their friends lists, actually feel more lonely compared to those who have person-to-person interactions, and I'd surmise it has to do with people have the need to be around people in a non-virtual environment.

Due to the convenience of the internet, I'd say incels are likely the new-age version of shut-ins before the internet, but their numbers may be on the rise exactly due to the convenience of the internet. Honestly, the only solution you can have is parents doing something about it at a young age... beyond that, there's not much you can do once they become adults.

The only way to fix it is to (in no particular order or severity, nor a complete list):

- Implement default pre-nuptial agreements that must be opt-ed out of and that are actually enforced, so men don't have to weigh getting their lives ripped apart with little to no protection or help vs finding happyness.

- Remove all mention from children's tv/books etc of girls being princess's or anything of that sort to dial down effects female hypergamy that is only made infinitely worse due to the internet and them being able to see what other people "got".

- Ban all mobile devices in schools (So all kids are forced to socialise and develop social skills),

- Ban social media for under 16s,

- Ban algorithms being used when recommending content until it can be implemented in a non toxic way, its a serious problem that if I start a new youtube/fb etc account and search for a few MGTOW or feminism gone crazy videos, I will then be inundated with more of that crap and worse yet, get recommended search results based not on if its similar to them, but on what other people who searched for who them watched as well, echo chambers are terrible.

- Implement feminism in a non toxic way so that all women aren't forced / guilted into working a pointless job they don't want (unless they do want to go the actual career route) instead of finding a husband and having children asap to raise birth rates (every country with feminism has a declining birthrate to the point of being unsustainable for the existing population without immigration), and then implement programs to get them into work/ education once they have the most important tests for them (family) settled and out of the way,

- Implement social housing programs that aren't useless and let people get interest free mortgages at 18-20, to kick start their lives and ensure they reach a point where they are saving for their retirement much earlier.

- More social programs to encourage teens to take on responsibility instead of wasting their lives away till 25-30 before finally getting their act together.

This problem does not need fixing as most (the vast vast vast, like 99.9999%) of incels are probably just regular human beings not bothering anyone.

I know this sounds like one of those doctors appointments "I got a friend with an erectile dysfunction, what should he do?" but really

I have a friend who's an incel. He's 26 years old. Never even kissed a girl, let alone had sex. He refers to himself sometimes as "lips virgin" god help us. And you know what? He's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Wouldn't hurt a fly. He just has difficulties approaching women, and also he is a bit overweight. Does that make him a bad person or a danger to society or women?
