I’m really critical of this episode but I disagree. They did a great job of displaying a feeling of hopelessness and despair. I had to pause at a few points to ready myself for what might come. The issue isn’t with battle as much as how easily and quickly the entire enemy was defeated by a single character.
Not even sure why the crows were there. The NK knows where Bran is at all times thanks to his mark, no need for them as a lure, and was revealed to Dany and Jon by attacking them, not by the crows as well. The dragon wouldn't change much, Bran by himself is no more capable of defending his crippled ass against a dragon than against a sword.
The only possible point is that the NK used Viseryon to block the entrance to the Godswood, which wouldn't be required if no army was there. But that's still a huge stretch and doesn't change the fact that having a 80 minute battle be entirely decided by a 18 year old superninja going full anime is unsatisfying to me.
"HOW DARE PEOPLE ENJOY DIFFERENT THINGS TO ME, IT MUST BE BECAUSE I'M SO MUCH SMARTER THAN THEM!!"
Also if you let your kids watch GoT I would had to question your parenting skills. Nothing says kid friendly like soft core porn, gore and dismemberment.
Wait, if it's so low IQ for children, why are you watching it and here in this thread?
I'm accepting this as cannon.

Im actually pretty jaded when it comes to cinema. But the battle was well done, poor decisions aside. The moment the Dothraki charged with swords blazing but were quickly snuffed out you realize the undead force is way bigger than your thought. For every thing they throw at the Night King, he has an answer. And that’s really why the Arya kill is so lame. The NK countered all their best, Dothraki, Dragons, Unsullied but he couldn’t counter a 70lb little girl
