Sadly as an ex-President the things he will be supplied with after he is escorted out of the White House is depressing. Not to mention any time there is a gathering of the living ex-Presidents he will always be the horrid reminder of just how ilequipped he was while in office.

Yep, that's "hearsay" again. That's not how the ICIG works.

They can seat him at the kiddy table

He can huff and puff all he wants. I don’t care, as long as he’s out. But like I said, the key part in that is getting him out.

He won't make it to many. Age + actual health. Plus the stress from multiple court dates after he's out of office.

So Graham wants there to be a trial before the House can initiate impeachment? And then what? The House sends it to the Senate to go through another trial?

Do you think the other ex-presidents will meet with him? Think he'll have an Ellen moment?

    Carter - can't stand Trump
Clinton - can't see it happening
Obama - you'd have to force a meeting and only if the optics are beneficial to the Obamas.
Bush - I actually think this is the least likely meeting to ever happen - without getting into a long post.

I expect a lot of, "Trump is going to be there? I'm too busy to make it."

I really wish I had some of the confidence in the American system to 'do the right thing'. History and life experiences keep telling me that its not that simple.

I like the part where he says any citizen with a parking ticket can confront the witnesses... Does Lindsey know how parking tickets work? Is this one of those "Need ID to buy groceries" moments?

Nobody has the right to confront all the witnesses, you have the right to confront your accusers, not the witnesses. Trump can confront Nancy Pelosi all he wants, and that is who is currently leading the accusations.

Just a reminder that one of the impeachment charges brought against Andrew Johnson was 'bringing disgrace and ridicule to the presidency by his aforementioned words and actions'.

What they are is desperate. Trump is in deep shit, and they're flailing their arms wildly to try absolutely ANYTHING to distract people from the truth.

The goalposts have been moved so many time they're in outer space.

There's so many strawmen that we're standing in a sea of straw-people.

There's so much deflection that... well I don't have a good line for this one, but there's A LOT.

There's so many lies and cooked conspiracies that they could make their own television station and outdo the History Channel for most conspiracies.

Most of the posts in this thread from the alt-right Trump diehards are just so pathetic it's painful to watch them make fools of themselves. Texasrules has been caught in numerous lies. Zenkai has contradicted his own words at least 7 times in the last 20 pages.

These are the screams of a dying animal.

And when it's all over, they'll pull the "Oh I never supported Trump, I was just trying to lay out some inconvenient truths to the liberals". As @Skroe has said, never let them forget just how often, how tenaciously, how zealously, they always went to bat for Trump.

I'd prefer to have all the evidence. Waaaaaay more people are connected to this than initially thought.

Same, but these Republicans on this forum, seem to want this to be kneecapped right now, not the whole investigation finished.

Yeah, just so they can rubber stamp that Trump did nothing wrong, no matter how much evidence is presented against him. Because they need their money from the Russian backed NRA and oil companies.

Not just that, they want it as far behind them and out of the publics view by election season as possible. The LAST thing they want is all the inquiry stuff fresh on their minds and all the stuff the GOP has done protecting them while they go to the ballot box, even with them blocking anything to help protect the elections, they don't want to risk it coming down to cheating that gets them over the top.
Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
    "mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.
