What you're saying is the exact same argument people made about Obama and America won't vote for a Black Man for president (Given Dump's regime, some might argue that's still somewhat true. :P) And honestly I believe there was far more hatred towards a Black Person being President than a white gay one.

I get the fear you have, I do. But I really don't think it's nearly as bad as you're making it out to be. In fact, it might be a bit of a boon because it does give him that "outsider/underdog" cred that's so desperately needed and useful.

EDIT: While I would vote for Bloomburg if it happened... good god I do NOT like the president that would create if he ended up the lead as that basically means anybody could buy their way into an elected position. Fuck, Oprah should actually run then! Remember when people say that shit wouldn't fly when those BS rumors were flying around? >_<

Again, Pritzker is doing good - and that's nice - but I still don't like how he bought his way into the position. =/

Brad Parscale is not a reputable source for information. Was there anyone remotely credible that backed this garbage up?

Even the new Quinnipiac poll showing Bernie ahead of Trump with independents is likely flawed for the same reason as polls from 2016 - when the media drives the narrative that one option is totally bad (true or otherwise), people do not report their true intentions to pollsters.
Republicans use the "S" word literally every fucking election. They used it on Obama ffs.

That's true, but with Bernie it will be 100x worse.

It was Buttigege who said something to the effect of "No matter what policy we do or hold, they're going to call it Socialism no matter what.".

And equally as effective, IE not at all.

No he's not. Whoever gets the nomination is 100x worse. It's a bullshit criticism and everyone with a half-functional brain knows it.

TexasRules fearposting about Bernie Sanders really kinda shows how terrified of him running vs the others are, trying to dissuade us from selecting him. That's a great endorsement for Bernie right there. :P

And it still won't be true since Sander's policies all fall in Social Democracy(you know, what they have in Europe) and not actually socialism.

Republicans will eat it up. No one else will buy it. This isn't the 1950s anymore. Everyone has access to the internet and information from other countries now and can see just how mainstream Sanders' policies are.

No, it's not. Because when Obama was running, whomever the DNC nominated was going to win the Presidency. McCain/I-can-see-Russia-from-my-house was a farce of a ticket.

Now, we're fighting for America's soul.

Oprah should have run. I would have voted for her in a second. People are conflating Donnie Dumb Dumb's "billionaire" status with other, actual, billionaires. Trump isn't and might never have been one. So making analogies to him is self destructive.

Bloomberg is a self-made billionaire, worth a verified $55B IIRC.
Oprah is also a billionaire. Verified.

Both are exceedingly bright and know how to work with a variety of people.

Seeing how a lot of people on this forums "buy" conspiracy theories, I think you will be amazed.

Tulsi Gabbard is totes fine with Trump's behavior in Ukraine and is totally fine with the recent purge of people who testified.

In case anyone was wondering, she's still a shoe-in for the Republican primary.

Your media overlords said this group is b level this weekend, I think that is too high of a grade. You can keep trying to run on Trump hatred, but the group you have running has nothing worth voting for otherwise. So are you okay having the independent who has a giant closet full of socialist videos against him as your best shot at the presidency?
Yes, every single Democratic candidate is head and shoulders better than Trump. Most of your allegations are equally true of Trump himself.

Warren is "fake"? Trump has literally been found responsible for running a fake university, and fined over it, among other lawbreaking.
Buttigieg is "hated by black people"? Trump is notoriously, overtly racist.
Bloomberg is a "bad version of Mr. Howell"? Trump is a bad version of Ebenezer Scrooge, Howell at least was a decent guy at heart.
Biden is a "zombie"? He's in better health than Trump is.

And Trump wasn't just "an independent". Trump was a Democratic voter, for years.

And nobody who'd consider voting for the Democrats is gonna panic at someone uttering the S-word. Maybe you can't see past McCarthyist propaganda from the '50s, but most Americans aren't that ridiculous.

Why? He won't care if he gets called a "socialist". They're gonna call him names anyway, he may as well not give a shit when they do.

i honestly wish she'd go republican for 2024. so she could drop the gun and immigration shit, though she might just personally believe in that stuff. cause other than that, she's absolutely perfect, since she questions the CIA, questions our foreign involvements, supports free speech. she's honestly just so amazing.

though, the last president to question the CIA was assassinated shortly after doing so. so maybe she should keep that a bit more quiet.

Okay...so now we need to know who he will support.
hm...just to play with this...a Warren/Yang ticket? Doesn't seem likely...I really don't see him as VP material.

Castro endorsed warren immediately after he dropped out, so i'm sure he's on her short list.

    He's not.

If he was tapped for anything, he's a shoe-in for this Obama created position - https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov...ation/eop/sicp

dammit. yang was one of the legit ones.

i wanted those freedombux. oh well, maybe one day we'll get UBI. it's probably inevitable, i'd hope anyway.

He was kinda like a mini Bernie since Bernie’s run in 2016 played a large part in shifting the politics of the Dems. He was probably my 2nd favorite candidate, so it’s sad to see him go. Hope he endorses Bernie. Thought I heard him say some good stuff about Bernie earlier.
