Warren is too dynamic to settle for VP. She can do so much more with a cabinet seat. Also putting two elderly white progressives on the ticket is just overkill.

Also, these Reagan babies might be too young to remember. But losing 1 or 2 senate votes really slowed Obama's agenda. Nominating Sebieliues to Health was a big mistake. Then losing Ted Kennedy's seat to Scott Brown was a large blow. One which Warren remembers more keenly.

Also these "I was a former Warren Supporter but..." tend to follow up by always putting her in a subservient role to Sanders. His VP, or one of secretaries. So curious.... Why would she give up real power as a senator or a committee seat?

It is almost hilarious really, Bloomberg gets in the race because he thinks he can stop the "liberal" wing, and now he is the very reason they will win the nomination. I think the best thing the "establishment" democrats could do at this point is push some of the weaker candidates to drop out of the race and endorse one specific candidate. They would win the nomination easily if the support wasn't so divided.

Apparently the strategy being floated is that they want to remain divided because of the superdelegate dimension. They can't be absolutely sure that they'd win a contest with fewer candidates. But if they keep Sanders from a majority, someone else can win on the second round when superdelegates come in.

Which is yet another insane idea. They don't think they can build a winning coalition that can beat Trump if Sanders wins. But they think they can build a winning coalition that can beat Trump by pissing off a plurality of their voters with a backroom shanking? This math does not check out.
