Lot of conflicting info. Marla thinks actual alpha has a good chance of being tomorrow, yet towelliee doesn't.

The important thing is getting an info dump regardless. Whether through datamining or actual alpha. At least to me. It's been the driest of dry spells and makes me wonder exactly why (outside of the recent covid stuff ofc). Originally Posted by Chickat
It'll feel strange if alpha starts out barebones (ie not much more than blizzcon build) and it doesn't ramp up quickly (new builds every week or so, new content to test every couple weeks, etc).

Because if they allow to datamine days before launch, why not sooner? In BfA they gave 12 days for datamining. Imo clearly they wanted it to stay hidden this time.
