Sure, why not
Nah, I like it
I'd like to skip it, mostly because of all the dialogue and walking with NPCs that you have to do.

It was literally added BY DEVELOPERS as a result of the damned campfire skip becoming too high level for use.
I'd actually like an option for every NPC to STFU and let me mount where I want. That alone should halve the time completing the intro.
Wait, what? What'd I miss? Are you saying once I leveled one character to 60 in Shadowlands, I can choose from the other timelines to level from 50-60 on all my alts?
On topic, I love The Maw. It's like going to hell while living, and the introductory story is fun enough I can repeat it 50 times and not get bored. Reminds of of the warlords of Draenor intro.
After the 1st character brought to Oribos i was already bored with it that damn mage is to slow and always falls behind, curently 12 characters in Oribos but that MAW story line really take the joy out of the game after 1 character
And Tanaan wasn't a scenario either. Others can be in the same area alongside you without automatically getting grouped and it doesn't use the scenario interface, just regular quests.
It requires non-intuitive steps to do, though, different from the actual skips that just plain tell you what will happen.

While the last two expansions have precedent for skipping some of the intro questing, there's also precedent for them making it unskippable, a la WoD's intro scenario up to the point you get your Garrison. Either way, it's not that bad. I hate questing myself but intro questing has never really fazed me. To each their own.

Im not sure what the big deal is. It goes at a reasonable pace and you are just about 51 when you walk out of it. The wod intro gets you from 10-15 faster than any other place in game for alt leveling. Would be nice if they offered a full base set through the intro
Yes, please. That fucking intro is the only reason I haven't brought more alts out. I have now played it four times. I do not want to do it again, ever.
It doesn't seem that much slower and you get a ton of freedom with what you can do. Every dungeon is available in the queue, you can work on the Oribos weeklies (like pvp quest) as well. For me personally, I enjoyed the story questing but it's not something I can do more than once.

I agree. And it's kinda weird to me they didn't put the skip in for this. Imagine doing the Battle of Lordaeron on every alt in BFA... or the Broken Shore intro in Legion.
I don't understand their logic either... it's not consistent with everything else. They'll let us skip the ENTIRE leveling storyline, but they want us to do this Maw intro... which btw is basically the worst type of content to replay: A ton of waiting on RP dialogue and half of it is an escort quest...
PLEASE LET US SKIPPPPPPPPP
It'll be skippable in the first patch. The expansion has been out for literally two fucking weeks and there's already a thread full of people wanting to skip parts of it, wtf.
Here's the thing - if you want an alt, you'll do the Maw scenario again. If you don't, you won't. If you don't want to do the Maw scenario again, then you don't want an alt. Part of me wants to go back and raid in Classic, but I don't want to level a character again, so I don't actually really want to raid in Classic because that's a part of doing it. I hate the word "entitlement" that gets passed around in BS motivational videos all the time but that's literally what this is - you feel like you're entitled to the end result with none of the work to get there, and that's just laziness.
And I say this as someone who hasn't leveled any alts because I hate the Maw scenario. I hate it so much I don't even do the max-level Maw content, because sockets and whatever other random crap Ve'nari gives isn't worth playing in the Maw to me.
