Pep’s had competition from Liverpool for part of his reign. But given City can outspend everyone, that gap never truly closes. It’s temporary. It’ll be the same until United goes full oil and Newcastle ramp up their spending. Boehly may come good as an owner if Poch delivers. Pep won’t run. He’ll just spend more.
