    • Blademaster Mirror images damage increased from 10 to 25% of the Blademaster’s base damage.
    • Troll Batriders Liquid Fire no longer prevents repairs but now reduces the repair rate by 75%.
    • Great Hall build time reduced from 150 to 135 seconds.
    • Bladestorm cooldown reduced from 180 to 120 seconds.


    Human

    • Siege Engine armor changed from heavy to medium.
    • Siege Engine damage reverted back from 22 to 44.
    • Spellbreaker armor increased from 2 to 3.
    • Blood Mage’s Siphon mana cost reverted from 20 back to 10.
    • Blacksmith cost reduced from 50 to 40 lumber.
    • Holy Light cooldown change reverted from 4 back to 5.

    • Ghoul Frenzy change reverted no longer gives 30 HP bonus.
    • Lich Frost Nova Damage reduced from 50/100/150 to 45/90/135.
    • Haunted Goldmine build time increased from 100 to 120 seconds.
    • Death Knight’s animated dead corpses are no longer dispellable.
    • Obsidian Statue spirit touch mana restore reduced from 3 to 2.


    Bugfixes

    • Fixed inconsistent data between Headhunters and Berserkers.

    Well those siege engine changes lasted long, It's almost as if no one bothered testing them

    The great hall reduce build time is nice, maybe Orc can finally expand a bit quicker

    So.... These updates for the WC3 are nice and all, but have you seen the WC3 mod, that have been made for Starcraft 2 by Synergy? O.o

    Its like what an actual update/reforge of WC3 would have been like, with more responsive units, being able to control more than 12 units, the option to turn Upkeep off/on and even a better campaign overall.

    It really is amazing what 1 person have done compared to what an entire company could not. I highly recommned people try it out if they are interested, its really good :O
    May the lore be great and the stories interesting. A game without a story, is a game without a soul. Value the lore and it will reward you with fun!

    Don't let yourself be satisfied with what you expect and what you seem as obvious. Ask for something good, surprising and better. Your own standards ends up being other peoples standard.

    Its true, that passion is often find in a much higher amount when it comes to modders, but that is something companies can imitate with sheer amount of resourses.

    Its just insane how good these Warcraft remakes have been done by just using what is already there in SC2. One guy have managed to this over 1½ year. Just imagine what an entire small team from Blizzard could have done in the same time, if they had the same scope? O.o

    Blizzard have had large success with small teams, like with Heartstone and HoTs, its a shame they did not do the same with WC3 by just using the tools already avalible in SC2.

    u can hate Metzen or love him, but no deny he poured his heart and soul to create warcraft and starcraft (no idea how involved he is in diablo), heck i bet u care about wow more than half of current (yes even current) team since u passion for it so much u talk about it all time even online, while for them it is a 9-5 job to get a paycheck and done

    personally I'd make the tanks deal like 40-50 siege damage but with much slower attack speed and two passive abilities: one to make them deal 1.5x damage to all buildings (not just fortified) and another to make their attacks knock back enemies hit

    about orcs, the extra total 75% damage from Illusions is quite scary; now Samuro will just run straight to your base and send illusions to do extra harass to workers

    it may be hampered as one of their modelers (and perhaps the only HD modeler who actually knows stuff on buildings) is Ukrainian and is in refuge of another country

    Today, we applied Build 19836 to the PTR, which we intend to be our final iteration on balance for 1.35.

    The Warcraft III development team is now focused on bug fixing.

    Custom Campaigns

    Players can now download Custom Campaigns to play or create their own.

    • Some Custom Campaigns can be played using either Reforged or Classic art.
    • Reworked frontend menu. Campaigns are now located under the “Single Player” menu.
    • Custom campaigns now track the difficulty a mission was completed on.
    • “Load saved game” menu can now reload custom campaign save files.
    • Added informational prompt to show users where to install campaign files to.
    • Added “Is Cinematic” option to the campaign editor to change campaign buttons to use the camera thumbnail instead of difficulty progression.

    Ranked Play
    • The Season will roll on January 19, 2023 when Patch 1.35.0 goes live. We initially plan for this season to last one year, but we may adjust the end date based on player feedback.
    • MMR for all races and modes will be reset during the season rollover.
    • Players will begin the new season with placement matches.
    • Updated the Map Pool in 1v1,2v2,4v4 and FFA.
    • Leaderboard caching has been updated to be more responsive.
    • The Leaderboard will now update correctly.


    Balance
    This balance update began with a wide range of changes the team wished to test – some more experimental than others. Our approach to this patch was to first take a look at various community feedback with the goal of diversifying strategy and reducing frustration. We then watched and read a community posts, and we played a great deal of multiplayer matches on the ladder with player feedback in mind. We then analyzed game data.

    To find out what ultimately would work, we put many changes into a PTR build as early as possible, and then playtested and calibrated further.

    Regarding the Siege Engine rework, we wished to experiment with giving the unit an alternative role other than merely killing buildings (in 1v1). Ultimately, it ended up overlapping too much with other Human units, and due to the loss of its Fortify armor, became less unique. We may revisit the Siege Engine at another time.

    We want to thank all the community members who put their time and energy into providing feedback during the PTR. We read your online posts and watched your videos, and found it all very helpful.

    General
    • All Altar Heroes gold cost were reduced from 425 to 400.

    I'm looking back at Warcraft 3 Reforged and I'm like damn What the Hell Happened? Tons of Stuff that was promised but was never made or delivered.

    My only hope is that when Microsoft or atleast the Fans fix the Campaigns along with set Lore Human Kingdoms, Orc Clans, Tons of missing Lore Characters, and etc. I'm hoping Warcraft 3 Reforged gets the better treatment like Diablo 2 HD was with Better HD Cinematics, Starcraft like Campaigns, Races like Blood Elves, Naga, Burning Legion, Draenei, and etc and tons of stuff I think would save Warcraft 3 from the ruined grave.

    All I'm waiting for now is hoping the Chronicles of the Second War Team finally finish up the Warcraft 2 Orc Campaign so that many others and I can enjoy playing it like the very first time of a true warcraft hd title.
    High Elves and Wildhammer Dwarves are finally playable in the Alliance. XD

    I think if Microsoft deal goes through, W3 Reforged will be one of the first games that would appear on gamepass, so maybe they will do something with it.

    There was this survey sent in january i think that was asking questions about some soft reboot of W3 Reforged, i wonder what happened with that and if they actually will do it.

    From what i remember many models and such were outsourced in W3Reforged, i would like at least when it comes to art department for more "warcrafty" feel to models in game and not ultra realistic, i liked it for a while before game launched, but the new art doesn't feel "warcrafty" enough, if it makes sense.

    WC3 (and basically whatever rts) is unplayable with a joypad (thus a “useless” title for console players), I don’t know if it’ll make to the gamepass honestly.

    I would have loved them to use the HOTS style instead. It was the perfect look, and they already had plenty of skin options. Some of the Heroes would have fit perfectly.
