Wow President Macron is really going for it.
France is taking a slightly different approach. Macron has told the nation he wants no company to be exposed to the risk of collapse as a result of the pandemic. He has also said gas, electricity and water bills are to be suspended – as are rents – and the state will guarantee companies’ loans with a €300bn package.
I found this particular interesting; those who are only mildly sick are likely not still infectious by about 10 days after they start to experience symptoms.
I have to wonder if one way to treat this is to deliberately infect those that can fight this off...I mean under control by medical staff this can be beaten.
as well as hotel and taxi requisitioned for lodging and travel of healthcare professional. Daycare guaranteed also so healthcare actors can fully focus on the crysis.
You keep forgetting that just because there's a much lower rate of mortality for those under 60, it doesn't mean that those people are immune to serious illness effects, including hospitalization requiring respirators, etc.
The phrases "deliberately infect" and "under control by medical staff" are antithetic here, despite your repeated attempts to make your oh-so-(not-actually)-clever position known.
It's getting extremely tiresome.

"If you get an infection, your immune system is revved up against that virus," Keiji Fukuda, director of Hong Kong University’s School of Public Health, told the Los Angeles Times. "To get reinfected again when you’re in that situation would be quite unusual unless your immune system was not functioning right. "Fukuda told the paper that it’s more likely patients are being released from hospitals while carrying dormant fragments of the disease that are not infectious, but resemble the virus when tested."
The test may be positive, but the infection is not there," he said.
In a hearing before the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Thursday, Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, was asked if people who have contracted the virus might now be immune."We haven’t formally proved it, but it is strongly likely that that’s the case," Fauci said. "Because if this acts like any other virus, once you recover, you won’t get reinfected." -----------------
It goes both ways, some go hysterical sky is falling, but on the other hand you have completely irresponsible morons who do not quite have a firm grasp on reality either.
All in all, it's better to be safe than sorry. Yes, the thing is not really going to kill those who post here, but it is highly contagious and there is a greater chance to end up with longer term complications too. I certainly don't want to injure my lungs and expose myself to complications in future, even if I know my chance to die is almost nil.
I do think it's better to lower profile for a time being and I do think that wearing a respirator (N95 or P2 one is enough apparently) and carrying a small bottle of sanitizer or antibacterial wipes in your car is something that should be a norm.
Yes, where I am in - vast majority of people still don't wear masks, but I'd rather look dumb 20 times than get sick one time.

Crazy how consistently right-wing governments are bungling up this situation while the more left-wing governments are doing a much better jobs.
