On my lvl 89 rogue, first toon this year to do Hallow's End, and the only thing I wanted was the weapon.
First time I've ever had all that in one bag tho.. Never had more then JP + one mask and maybe another item in it.. So guess lucky in a way.

Haha, congratz! I was on TS with 3 people from the guild and we decided to do the dungeon. Another guy jumped on TS and I ninjainvited him and told him to come (he had no clue what was going on). I said "I hope someone gets the mount!" and after the kill I see what loot everyone got and the guy I ninjainvited got the mount. I started laughing and he was really surprised, he had no clue what he was in for, his comment was "I don't know what to say."

It seems most mounts have dropped out of pure coincidence. Doing dungeon/raid for anything other than mount/doing instance by coincidence = Mount drops. Farming for mount = Mount drops after 1000000000 kills (exaggerated obviously).

So I was doing Tempest Keep for pets and mount. Last week nothing dropped. I was a bit surprised one of the pets didn't drop. So week two. First pet drops on Phoenix boss, second pets drop on the mechanical boss to the left. My girlfriend asks what I am doing, I tell her killing this guy for a mount, but it won't drop it never has. I have probably only been in TK for about 15-20 attempts. Sure enough Ashes dropped. I told her when I go to Onyxia she needs to have her hands on my shoulders again as she is good luck.

Lucky mount story.

I ran a weekly ICC 25m heroic clear to finish my Warrior's Shadowmourne (Obviously reserving Invincible's Reins if it did drop). The week I finished Shadowmourne (Last ICC clear) as were killing Lich King, my PC freezes... so I reboot quickly and I login, Lich King is dead.. and there's the mount, I fliped out

Flying around storm peaks herbing waiting for av to pop...and as soon as im done with the bg i fly right into the time lost drake without even looking for him .

Flight path through storm peaks, literally passed through time lost. Super excited, but still long flight path. As soon as I land I fly back, find him flapping around and grab that mount. Not two seconds after getting him I find Skoll (Rare lightning spirit beast wolf). Best two rare in the game IMO.

Earlier this month I had my birthday, and as it just so happened the Tuesday after my birthday, my regular farm runs ended up with a hell of an RNG star alignment. I did my TK run and sure enough, ol Kael'thas decided to yield his fiery bird of shiny this time.

After that, my daily zul'gurub run for the panther, and yet again it ended up with Kilnara deciding I was ready to own one of her brood.

Then I decided to hit my molten core for the other binding for Thunderfury, and yet again, Garr decided he didn't need that pesky ripped up binding on him and let it go to rest at my feet when he died.

Was a hell of a Tuesday morning I'll tell you what. I wish luck to all who are farming any of those particular drops.

So, I try to do 25 Yogg-0 on at LEAST one character per week, if not more. My monk is collecting val'anyr fragments so I full clear on her, but on my main and other toons I just use a lockout at yogg every week and 2man it with a friend. Last night, right before I was going to log off for bed, a friend asked me to come do Yogg. I said that my only unsaved toon is my very undergeared rogue. He said "Sure that's fine".

A couple weeks ago I finally got Alysrazor's mount (after 160+ kills across my account), and last night I won Mim's Head!

Now it's my time to tell you a little story...

One day in a far away land i was in my room and i was watching the starless sky out of the window, after a while i realized that the sky was cloudy and that's why i could not see any stars at all.

After that discovery i went to my PC, i logged into WoW and while i was waiting for the loading screen to load, i checked the forums, i found a challenge game where they were asking us to do Stratholme speed runs, "i accept your challenge" i said, so i went to eastern plaguelands, i entered Stratholme, it took me 6mins and 36secs to finish it, i wasn't that happy with the result "i will do it again" i said, so i went outside the instance, i reset it and i entered it again, this time around i did 6 mins and 28secs to finish it but........ HOLY CRAP because i forgot to stop the stopwatch and i first clicked the last boss for the loot i froze on my chair, when i unfroze i stopped the stopwatch while it was showing 7mins and 35secs.

Well i am pretty sure you already guessed it, yeah the deathcharger mount dropped in that second run. RNG is just RNG ffs.
