Shameless! A testament to how tolerant the WoW community is.

Shush the whining, in 2 years we will be able to make a trade deal with US. EU countries never will separately.

Was really hoping that this madness was limited to Hearthstone. Yeah, the numbers might make sense when looked at on a spreadsheet, but, in reality, these services were already extremely overpriced for what they are - a simple automated function - and are now that little extra bit harder to justify using at all.

At this point I'm pretty sure sub prices would have gone up too if their PR team assured them they could get away with it.

Yes Brexit will have a massive impact on Blizzards automated Character Services.

Meanwhile FF14 services are almost half the cost.

    Blizzard are just being greedy.

Sub fees were raised in England during WoD.
Also raising the price of character boost means raising the cost of future expansions, as they've already said expansions need to cost more than a character boost, else people would just create multiple bnet account, buy expac for their char then merged accounts and they don't want that.

My sub fees have gone up and down by up to 40% over the years.... the wonders of currency markets.

Tbh that would only be efficient if separate account didn't cost you an extra sub, and they do.

If you wanted to have a boost this way you need to buy:
    - base battle chest
    - newest expansion
    - character transfer to your main account (to keep paying only 1 sub)

So no, if you aren't an avid multiboxer it's not more efficient to buy extra licenses in the face of rising transfer costs.

Yeah, it was already expensive as fuck for something so trivial for someone who lives in Poland and now it is even more expensive, wow. I was thinking about race change, but I will not do it in the end.

These services cost blizzard NOTHING, they make millions of millions by providing nothing. Holy moly the greed is real here. Everyone is saying for years prices are way too high and they increase them further. God damn blizzard this goes too far.

Who still use all these services? It's easier to level new toon up rather than to pay real money for any of service.

Glad I did my massive transfer shuffle the moment token to balance went live. Are we getting more euro per token after the price hike? I bet not, cuz sub isn't going up so it'll stay at 13eu per token. I expect the eu token prices soon land somewhere close to chinese, we already are above Taiwan woop woop...

Things that should already be free getting more expensive? Sounds like Blizzard!

Yep, I wouldn't pay for a char boost, that's the most overpriced piece of **** I even seen, but to have characters you're attached to stuck on some old server you no longer play, well that was a bummer, so I wanted to bring them to my main.

I actually used my WOD boost to "recreate" my DK stuck on some godforsaken realm, but I ended up regretting not having my "real" DK, with old non-obtainable anymore patterns, old reps I cba to regrind (like having these Ebon Blade DK guards in my garrison on WOD), some cool flavour items you no longer get etc.

Such a waste of a "free" boost, should have boosted a class I didn't have. Ended up transfer-swapping these 2 to get the "correct" one on my main realm. Managed to snatch tokens for 164k, they're around 200k now and I expect them to rise, they already are since the announcement.

Even from the US, looking at this is outrageous. WoW already offered the most expensive services for any Subscription MMO (or really even the F2P MMOs). Especially for a service that is 99.999999% automated. This is driven by absolutely nothing but greed and it is actually ludicrous.

    £27 for a faction change??
jesus, thats almost as much as the new FFXIV xpac stormblood!!
    good luck with that, blizzard.
im absolutely shocked by the sheer greed of that company.
really, im almost lost for words!!
