Does anyone know a accounement date for Mists?
To be fair, the Heroclix community (a miniature game featuring Superheroes) gets really whiny as well. They can give the WoW community a pretty good run for their money, most of the time. *sigh* I would have to join two of the brattiest communities on the internet, wouldn't I?
Well, that sums it up. I cannot play MoP until I get a PC upgrade, which is about $600, so I be farked until I can SOMEHOW come up with the money to play. I knew I was gonna be screwed over eventually but was hoping they'd actually not require such a step up to make it unplayable by people with low-end computers and also low-end budgets (the 2 tend to go together). Looks like I won't be playing WoW for a while.
Are the requirements different to the Mists of Pandaria Beta?
No idea, but I didn't load the beta on my computer, or rather I did, but I haven't tried to play yet, as I was waiting for more to be ready. I dislike the super-buggyness that is beta release. I was waiting for it to be around the time now to try it out. I like testing instances and raids and such. But now I won't even bother, as my PC is too old to even dream of running MoP.

So what their launch was messed up like everyone elses. Where is my refund at? I got to play the game for one hour before I logged off and now whenever I try to play it it says a file is corrupt and no matter what I do it wont let me play. Turned off peer to peer, uninstalled and reinstalled from both the disc and the battle.net downloader, and moved the file to force a reinstall all while being the only account on my computer so I know I am the admin. Whenever I made a ticket I just got told to go to the knowledge center after having stated I checked there and still nothing. So again I ask where is my refund for the game that will not work. Before its said my computer can run D3 with no problems.
I'm disappointed with the color scheme of the box (if it's legit). Keeping my fingers crossed for change!
My situation with my computer isn't as bad as yours, thankfully (and my sympathies to you). It looks I'll still be able to play MoP when it's released, but I have almost all the settings on low already and it struggles somewhat in LFR -- on live. If I want to have an ok playing experience, I will need to upgrade at least a couple hardware/software stuff beforehand. (And I was intending on just replacing the entire computer somewhere down the road.)
I'm glad they increased the system requirements (because it means graphic updates, not because I want some players to be unable to play). The new minimal is still way under the entry level of a new computer, so most of the players shouldn't have a problem. Just look at the hardver debut dates of the new parts. They are about same old as the game itself (2004-2005). If you don't have a computer for that, you are probably one of the very rare unlucky who couldn't afford to buy new system since 6-7 years. Mine is 6 years old already but beats the minimum without problems. I've been saveing up money for a new and upgrade should be fine just before MoP.

I've always gotten the whole panda thing since it was announced and haven't had a problem with it, but that box cover just looks odd for WoW.
We're the winners given their beta keys already if they won????
If your pc cant handle Wow then just lols. How in the world do you have so shity pc?Upgrading is so cheap these days.
Completely unwarranted response.
But, since it seems you were in fact the one that failed to read, let me c/p it for you:
It doesn't take a genius to see that this statement definitely implies/gives the suggestion that SC2 is on a monthly subscription model in South Korea.Players who do not apply for a refund will get a free month of Starcraft 2 access
Not anybody have the money to upgrade a PC and you just fail trolling. So please next time just shut useless retard. And retain your useless retarded replies for yourself. SILENCE WORLD, THE SMART GUY HAS SPOKEN. And pay for some english lessons instead of buying PC upgrades, you need it idiot.
I could tell you that you should do something rather unpleasant to yourself, but I do not wish to get into trouble with the mods, however, you have to realize, even with a blivet-brain like yours, that some people just can't knock out cash whenever they feel like it.
Perhaps you should go and have your mommy and daddy buy you another PC, that way you can lord over us who barely have one.
P.S. STFU

The way he said that may be bad but he has a point. WoW system requirements are low. Very low. Even those mentioned for MoP. I understand that some people cant afford to buy a new PC but nobody is asking to buy a state of art machine. If someone can afford to pay monthly sub for WoW then he should surely afford to buy cheap PC parts that would meet the MoP requirements. And by cheap I mean really cheap. Second hand market etc. Unless someone can barely make it to pay that monthly WoW sub and there is no room for anything else. But in such case I would think that this person should consider if playing WoW is a reasonable thing to do at all.
I know some people can be in tough life situations. But world moves on. By that logic someone could demand that WoW should be playable on hardware from 1995. Blizzard is already holding back becouse of people with weaker systems. If you would ask me, I would be for making a total engine overhaul that would probably boost the requirements x2. Some of WoW models from 2004 look goddamn awful today and lots of people will agree with that. And Blizzard is not upgrading only becouse that would piss people with lower machine settings.
And yet I now read that some people say that MoP requirements are too high? Seriously? Lets try to be reasonable. Some compromise maybe? Since 2004 I bought a new PC three times already and next year I will probably buy fourth. That is perhaps over the top and I understand that. But if someone cant afford now to buy PC parts from 2005 he should reconsider if gaming is a good hobby for him.
