I would love a Western-themed MMO, especially something sandbox-y. I'd be content herding cattle and trying to protect them from those that would do them and me harm. There doesn't even have to be factions. Build your own towns, trading posts, or be a renegade and take what you want.
edit: My underlying love of westerns was rekindled about a year ago when I started watching Hell on Wheels on AMC.
Dont like traditional fantasy MMOs anymore (as in evil dragons...)? - Try "the secret world"...
if it was a steampunk western mmo, i'd be interested, always thought the firefly universe would make for a good mmo
