If you would go MF for Immerseus HC I doubt you would be using it during a split phase.

I used MF W/ seed on Immerseus. As soon as the adds (before they're even stacked together) come out i pop MF and cast SB + Seed then Seed (since they're counted differently) then i soulburn soulswap right away. and right after that i soulswap to pick up both the seeds and the weak soulburned dots and u can normally swap it around a few times. This avoids the annoying canceled casts and seed will always blow up. don't use the buffed dots u have on the boss since it'll cause the seeds to blow up before u can do anything. This might be difficult or impossible to pull off if u have high latency. i had about 80 ms. Doing this i got rank 6(at the time) out of it and bursted about 2.5 mil dmg on the adds. there's the log http://worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-11...2#Yoloswagginz
I should add if u have issues w/ soc or miss the time before the adds are stacked casting RoF as ignocia said is still decent.

Can anyone give me more insight on proper prolonging with affliction?
My basic understanding is to wait for the last possible second on the Soul Swap: Exhale buff to cast it, while doing so to up malefic grasp and haunt uptime? It seems like the "true" way to play affliction right now but I don't see a lot of people shining light on the subject.
Watching spark in his recent just for giggles video is mostly why I ask, since it shows him doing just this.

It's not really the "true" way to play aff, it's more about exploiting mechanics (all the clunky stuff about prolonging dots with SS is not intended, and it's one of the reasons why Blizz is removing snapshotting). But yeah, you should use these ~2s to get mg or haunt uptime. Something like SS -> haunt -> exhale -> SS -> mg -> exhale -> SS -> ... What you can actually fit between SS and exhale is tied to how much haste you have.
are there any encounters grimoire of sac is better for than grimoire supremacy?
how big diffrence are their between ktt hc vs black blood normal? black blood always being so much harder to use -.-'. if ktt is a big loss tho i guess its worth to still use blood.
Hi guys, I'll move to a 25m guild this week because after finishing 10H content my and other core will join up.
Any tips which explain what changes playing as affli in 10 vs 25, more fights at 25H makes Afflicion more viable/better than Destro like Thok or Nazgrim?

tl;dr: black blood wins for affli
idd, i would go as far as saying that black blood is mandatory for afflic, any version of it.
What would a good start for a boss fight like Protectors be?
Im considering Haunt > Soul burn soul swap > Soul burn soul swap since this will get the max DoT timer on the mob and then I can simply soul swap these max duration DoTs to the other 2 mobs.
Your opener is generally the same, the difference being if there are multiple targets to swap to at the start.
Single-target wise, you pre-pot/pre-haunt, sb:ss, wait for wrath to proc, pop CDs and sb:ss again, then sb:ss again at 10 stacks, keeping haunt up as much as possible.
Multitarget, you do the same thing, but while you're waiting for wrath to stack to 10, you fill with soul swaps to the other targets (not using GCDs in-between), then sb:ss again at 10 stacks and start swapping around again. You don't want to start filling gcd's in between inhale/exhales until your strong dots are on all available targets.

Xyro, since you're a stud lock I figured I'd ask you. Can you have too much mastwry? I currently have 156% raid buffed and 12,005 haste 32.5ish %. Should I drip some for more haste?
The general rule of thumb all expansion has basically been get haste to a breakpoint, then stack mastery, then haste, then crit. Technically and statistically, haste is better in purely single target encounters, but there are only two of those this tier and neither of them are particularly challenging fights. In near-BiS gear, you're likely going to find yourself in between breakpoints. (most are around the 14000 rating area) That's fine. Just continue to stack mastery.

Does anyone know how channeled spells are calculated. I think it is different from ability to ability or stat to stat, but not sure. For instance, I know if I cast drain soul under a haste buff, it'll use that haste even if the buff runs out. However, I noticed on my boomkin that I can't snapshot intellect procs with hurricane but it'll snapshot the haste or a meta or nature's grace. Anyone know if that is the same for drain soul/MG?
