QM Matchmaking is still shit and it's not okay

Yeah, if you enjoy never queuing for HL and like playing the weekly free hero rotation in the broken QM. THAT sounds like a fun way to play the game. Not.

It's not Promised Land. It's about getting a chance for proper team comp and at least some very basic tactic. Considering number of matches I played in both HL and QM I can say without a doubt that you have much, much higher chance to meet skilled people (in yours or enemie's team) in HL than in QM.

Also even with all the l33t bitching in HL it is generally easier to execute some simple strategies like: "focus X" hero - where in QM you would get laughed at and flamed for "telling people how to play".

There are no other reasons to play QM besides checking out a hero or just leveling account for HL. Everything else is doing more harm than good.

Considering number of matches I played in both HL and QM I can say without a doubt that you have much, much higher chance to meet skilled people (in yours or enemie's team) in HL than in QM.

Lately my experience has been that the enemy team is guaranteed to have those skilled people, mine not so much.

Well I count Chen and Nova as empty hero slots so that's essentially a 5v3. Chen laned all game incidentally.

Also Abathur ate all our lanes while my team let Li Ming wipe them all out in critical mass chains TWICE.

In their defence, the Xul was good and we did okay at the start.

That's a really horrible Chen. I often top hero damage as Chen when there's a Li-Ming on the opposing team.

Nova's actually really annoying again after the recent sets of buffs.

I don't see her as the same hero a few patches back when she just got neutered.

You basically can't play supp (Tyrande, Tass) in QM. You will very often get put as solo supp vs an uther and rehgar on the enemy team. The same goes for tank. Picking tanks that suck as solo tanks (diablo, tyrael, anub arak) is almost guaranteed to fail.

Still, I prefer QM to HL. I'd rather be able to play whatever hero I want, than have decent comps most of the time. I originally stopped playing HL because of how often people troll, even at rank 1. 3900 mmr in HL and I get murkys, gazlowes, tychus first picks almost every other game.

This is honestly the worst part of Quick Match right now. Shit time? No problem, they can be meat shields for you to carry behind. Vs a li ming? They actively ensure your death.

The amount of times i've died simply because one of my team mates fed a li ming is insane. Critical Mass makes me hate my team mates.

Double support can be fun though cuz you get to try out alternative builds rather than being forced to pick "top healing/mitigation" build or risk being blamed for any loss...

That said, when in game as support and the people you have to try to heal are like Valla Kael'thas Lunara and Li-Ming, unless you're Tassadar it's pretty GG anyway

You guys just reminded me of how I got a QM where both teams had 3 tanks. Each. It was horrible, anyone barely killed everyone. In the end they won simply by stalling us more and using the dragon.

The official word is that hero level is not currently taken into account. Which I agree with you is total bullshit.

My last game was almost singlehandedly thrown by a retarded Muradin who charged into towers and encouraged the team to follow him. Which for some insane reason they did.

I think 3 of them - they were spamming some moon runes like retards. Me and the other guy were just extrax - which begs the question: how the system determined that those 3 specialists.. need 2 more ;p.

I'm pretty sure that once at least 3 people are in a group the matchmaker just says "fuck it".

5 man Premade with tanks and healers vs our 5 ranged assassins only 2 of which are grouped... what the actual fuck are you supposed to do, apart from waste 20 minutes and pray for a merciful loss.

Try to convince everyone to do laps around the graveyard.
