In my opinion for a drake that in average you have to kill 100 times, and as such, because of instance cap, you will need 10 hours and with a decent geared char you can get 5k per hour, 50k is its value, if you assume it will take you 500 more runs to get it, fine, otherwise bit of a waste, especially if you have already done a high number of runs.
However, again, 233k is sort of nothing atm, so you could just decide to not farm it at all and use some gold if you don't have more reasonable mounts to get with it.
For me, the gold is best used for the remaining not farmable or unrealistically farmable ones, as in galleon, plagued, old raptor, old tiger, not gonna pay for anything else, since 1) I have them all, and 2) If I didn't have them all, I'd sure be farming them, instead of having nothing interesting to do but farming gold in wow.
Ah, exception: oondasta and timewalking, they don't appear in BMAH yet and I'd farm them if it weren't for some design issues: oondasta has a 2h spawn time and for its drop rate which is fairly low but not as low as sha etc., as in 0,25-0,5%, waiting hours for each kill of possibly more than 1.000 is seriously annoying, and timewalking is also 0,125% or something like it per boss, it's realistically farmable, but could take like 8 months of 12 hours a day of timewalking dungeons, as in the drop rate is a bit overkill-low imo.
So bored that I might get farming them ofc, but once again if they started appearing in BMAH, 953,1k gold would be a far less harmful way to get them for a fairly rich player like me (less than 8 mil).
