If this is going to be Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium with more Eric and Pokemon instead of toys, then this isn't going to end well.

On the other hand, if they scale up the age of the characters and give it an absolute antagonists the likes of the latter games such as BW, it'll do great. They can still get the kids to watch it, but only the most diehard older fans would come for MMWE with Pokemon and 10 year olds.

That's exactly the reason. Just goes to show that "Smogon bans what they want", especially after needing to reach extraordinary rating just to be able to. Farming that MMR to not vote afterwards smells extremely fishy.

pokemon is already that. at most it could be pg13.

i dont even see a pokemon movie having a villain, maybe like some of the past animated movie villains but if they make pokemon it will almost assuredly be an adventure film, probably revolve around a legendary.

i could even see them doing a live action remake of the first movie. mewtwo is big with kids today and big in nostalgia.

The ninja turtle film was hard to fuckup; you had four CGI mains, just the FOUR! Half of Pokemon's entire world would be CGI creatures, the other half humans, and that's before talking about CGI locations, special effects, touch up...

All the event 'mons are bound to the game only, doesn't matter the distribution. However Volcanion is supposed to be distributed by a code if I'm not mistaken (which is bound to the movie ticket iirc) so I don't see much ppl using one, trading it off, resetting game and getting second one. They might clone them however and then swarm the world! Now if you'll excuse me, time to join the wonder trade hunt and be disappointed with the outcome...
