man city's squad is vastly overrated. They have some really good core players but outside of that, they are mediocre at best

I fear United's shot of getting into the top 4 is pretty much gone with today's draw, really needed the win. Oh well, there is still the FA Cup...

That almost sounded like paying Spurs a compliment.

You'll have the Europa League to look forward to as well.

True, sometimes it produces more entertaining games than the Champions League. That said, we're talking about United here... some drastic changes need to be made if we want entertaining football from them :P (although there is the good game every now and then).

United just need to win their final 3 games.

City or Arsenal (if not both) have to drop points when they face each other, today wasn't ideal but looking at this a couple of weeks ago, a loss was the likeliest result for most people.

I just don't see why we're ruling it out yet.

Ye it wasn't a horrible result, but the situation aint that good either. United most likely have to win their 3 remaining games (unless City/Arsenal manage to screw up completely).

And United have two pretty hard away games next.

Norwich are playing to stay in the PL and will give a very good fight and West Ham have been very good the entire reason and are fighting for a euorpean spot. So both those teams will have alot to play for.

The last game at Old Trafford against Bournemouth who have nothing to play for should be ok tho.

Also im not 100% sure, but what happens if City somehow manage to win the UCL and ends up in top 4? Wont that mean that the 5:th becomes a UCL spot then too?

You need City to lose to at least Arsenal. 3 points from two games secures top 4 for us and I know things are bad but no chance do we lose to Villa. So City are the ones to overtake.

    Could always draw.

3rd to 5th is entirely interchangeable.

  13. #10113
Yeh, not even Arsenal could bottle 4th.

    Man City however.
Imagine if they miss out on top four, lose the semi final and Pep decides to go to United instead.

I think the only way 5th gets a spot in CL is if that team also wins the CL or Europa.

You can only have 5 teams in the CL whatever so a bad case for Man Utd would be getting into 4th ahead of Man city, but then Liverpool and City win the European Cups, in that case 4th place would not get a CL spot (Only top 3 and Euro Cup winners).

Neither Norwich nor West Ham especially are a given, and we're depending on Arsenal beating City, as a draw or City win just aren't as helpful.

Hope Chelsea get battered. After the season they've had I'd hate too see them do anything of note.

    Middlesbrough
    Brighton
    Burnley

    Hull
    Derby
    Sheff Wed

So 2 out of the top group are coming up, personally I hope Brighton do...good away day. Wednesday are my other pick. The championship is such a tough league.
