Seems this is the crux of the DCMA take down, make your own animations with your own"wiring/framework etc" you would probably be better protected...however since it is using RIPPED assets directly from the game(Blizzards coding/programming/employee made shit) .

They are dumb if they think they can even stop people from using the ingame models too. It's been done for years with other games and there's no way they can stop people from being able to use the models and post it on the internet.

Would this not be considered fair use by almost every legal standard? The SFM models just barely count as being ripped and generally only the face of the original model is used. There is so much original work in creating good models for SFM, first you must find some way to get the models working on source and this can sometimes cause huge issues that must be fixed by the modeler, then you must create a "nude" model since most games don't really have a base nude model, then you create the textures for the nude body, good modelers usually create some way to manipulate breasts, and then you must attach a set of naughty bits, which, depending on how much effort you want to put in, will require creating another 3D model and a skeleton for it.
