I think people have very high expectations for Friday. It's not a new feature. It's about the questions everyone had for Legion and what they have seen so far, that's what the streamers said. They are building it up only because the responses that they received were good. It's more about improvements then anything.

Big focus on server community. No lfr/lfd no cross realm anything. Fresh start so no gold inflation from WoD. I'm in favor of it

Well yes, you are wrong. There's nothing specific in Pristine Servers that'd make them somehow more appealing to people who prefer RP servers. Unless there's some DMing tools available it could just be like any other server.

Exactly, Pristine Servers are not aimed at RPing they are aimed at addressing one single issue associated with Vanilla servers...bringing back the need for "community" by removing the tools that allow people to avoid interacting and grouping. I suspect that is what Blizzard feels is the most important part of the Vanilla Server movement...rightly or wrongly that seems to be what they've derived from it.
