They should have tackled her to the ground, pummeling her so nobody would be exposed to those filthy breasts!

Nobody should see exposed bodyparts in passing! Basicaly eye-rape!

Okey, way too late for me to actually make a point again. I will show myself out now.

    Okey, one more thing:
The game is for people above 12y. That means many of them already hit puberty and/or already masturbated/thought about the opposite sex.
If anything a dick isn't something they haven't seen yet (probably). That's for sure.

It's unfortunate that it happened but it did apparently and that's on him. Whatever happens to him is between him, Twitch and Blizzard. Blizzard needs to be a little more cautious about how they go about promoting their business with 3rd party promotions like this. There's nothing much else to say except that Swifty's giving out of beta keys favoring those who donate to the stream runs counter to the whole idea of the promotion and to me is a much worse thing than slipping up and allowing questionable content through.
Especially when he has like 9 screens, he could have easily dedicated one screen to opening and checking links before he let his stream see it.

    that sounds pretty hilarious actually.

blizzard's fault for having this dumb event in the first place.

No, neither of them are in big trouble at all. It's been made pretty clear that Swifty had no previous knowledge of the follower having a dick pic o his twitter feed. You can't be held liable for clicking on a link to a dick pic when you have no knowledge it's porn. Read the law again
    Obscenity Involving Minors

Federal statues specifically prohibit obscenity involving minors, and convicted offenders generally face harsher statutory penalties than if the offense involved only adults.

Section 1470 of Title 18, United States Code, prohibits any individual from knowingly transferring or attempting to transfer obscene matter using the U.S. mail or any means or facility of interstate or foreign commerce to a minor under 16 years of age. Convicted offenders face fines and imprisonment for up to 10 years.

In addition, Section 1466A of Title 18, United State Code, makes it illegal for any person to knowingly produce, distribute, receive, or possess with intent to transfer or distribute visual representations, such as drawings, cartoons, or paintings that appear to depict minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and are deemed obscene. This statute offers an alternative 2-pronged test for obscenity with a lower threshold than the Miller test. The matter involving minors can be deemed obscene if it (i) depicts an image that is, or appears to be a minor engaged in graphic bestiality, sadistic or masochistic abuse, or sexual intercourse and (ii) if the image lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value. A first time offender convicted under this statute faces fines and at least 5 years to a maximum of 20 years in prison
See that whole with intent part yeah there goes your argument out the window.

Depends on the broadcast and where it originates from. Different rules now than even a few years ago, not to mention cable and 'traditional' networks operate under different rules. The point is that not that Swifty deliberately did anything (except for the key thing to people who donate which is much more of a problem) but as a form of broadcasting he's still responsible for what goes out on his stream. I'm not weighing in on any of that. A lot of live events and nearly anything on radio involving listener call-ins run on a 7-10 second delay for just this reason though. Swifty had the equivalent of checking the images he put up. So it's really up to Twitch and Blizzard if they want to do anything about that. Blizzard, to my mind, certainly should look at the distribution of keys though. If they signed off on the idea that it was OK for Swifty to hand them out that way, then someone at Blizzard needs to called into a meeting and explain what the thinking was.

I could at any time stand outside studio where they produce a specific morning tv program and as the camera was rolling by hold up a dick pick.

The only one to blame here is the person lame enough to link the dick pick.

Just because the internet is filling up with trolls doesnt mean everyone should start protecting themselves from it. This is what the trolls want. This is how they win.

No you're right. It's like the broadcast where someone runs up and flashes a picture of a naked person. Far less damaging.

I knew something great would happen with this whole event and I was not disappointed.

Everyone gains money from this situation. Lets use the ALMIGHTY Curse / MMO-C.com for instance.. do you think these sites are doing that shit for shits and grins? They get revenue off ads - just because swafty' is giving these to donators, doesn't change the fact that money changes hands in different ways.. Blizzard makes the ultimate amount of money off all of this - nobody's trying to hang blizzard right?

    "Gameplay experience may change online".

Seriously, pretty sure most streamers have little boxes where you accept possible swearing etc before you even see them... Accept that risk by clicking it and you really can't complain.

This is as dumb as parents buying their kid GTA then complaining it's violent.

I know you're just doing that five letter word we're not allowed to say here, but the contest was for screenshots taken of demons, not money spent.

I'm waiting to see the lawsuit this moron will try and file for punitive damages.

The irony of a parent outraged about seeing a penis yet letting their kid play a game full of genocide, murder, rape and blood and gore where you pretty much slaughter tons of innocent sentient beings.... Oh 'murica

He might. Twitch might settle it as well. Don't think for a minute that a civil suit about this wouldn't have some traction. It would. Maybe it shouldn't but it would. Outside of the world of video gaming and the internet generally, people take stuff like this very seriously. None of this has anything to do with the FCC but CBS paid something like a $550,000 fine over the Super Bowl thing. So yeah, I would expect someone to try and cash in on this and they may well succeed.

yeah I'm not even touching the rest of the junk that went on in the event lol, but the streamers should of have a blizzard or someone else handle the selections for the keys and have them streamer just announce the names. Streams have the delay option too but unfortunately I think people will still see whatever you had delayed even if you closed stream, idk though.

I'm so happy i dont live in the US.

The land where they teach kids that anything remotely related to sex is tabu, yet all forms of violence is great.

    Edit:

Like seriously isnt this "sue anyone for anything" thing you have going starting to get redicolous to everyone?
