Dude owning a copy of Mein Kampf, studying his speech techniques, and emulating his platform isn't Hitler though?
Not that Hitler is the worst dude in the world either, he liked dogs and he had an apparently sweet girlfriend, he helped create the autobahn, he jump-started the German economy, he made a big push in the sciences, etc. A small dose of Hitler wouldn't be the worst thing in the world I don't think, especially with this overgrowth of SJW/PC culture and how detached people have come from reality.
Absolutely, I can and did.
Sorry to burst your bubble but not every opinion, critique, analysis and interpretation warrants a response.
This is one of those cases.
Dat source yo. So objective and non biased.
READ and be less Ignorant.
That's true, and not just dogs.
His weak spot have been animals, and he made some pretty cool changes to animal protection laws.
That lies in the eye of the beholder.he had an apparently sweet girlfriend,
He didn't help, he created it.he helped create the autobahn,
But not for the good of the people. It was a military strategic tool.
Moving troops and equipment from A to B quickly, courtesy of the Romans who've basically invented the idea and the road system for that purpose.
Yup, military industrial complex is a very effective way of running a successful economy.he jump-started the German economy
The USA's economy still runs on that principle ever since WW2.
For all the wrong reasons.he made a big push in the sciences
You sound like the old guard now..A small dose of Hitler wouldn't be the worst thing in the world I don't think, especially with this overgrowth of SJW/PC culture and how detached people have come from reality.
Discipline and Order, that's what Adolf used to teach us... bla bla bla

I've always believed that the "perfect" spot on the political spectrum was some spot with a degree of communism and a degree of socialism, a degree of libertarianism and a degree of authoritarianism, and a sprinkling of fascism. I've always believed it to be some sort of "balance" (not true balance, being at coordinate (0,0) isn't the answer either) between all the "isms" and that none of the "isms," including fascism, are inherently evil, until taken to an extreme level.

For people who can't do a google search here is the source site for the platform: https://www.gop.com/the-2016-republican-party-platform/
Here are a few juicy quotes:
We support the public display of the TenCommandments as a reflection of our history and our country’s Judeo-Christian heritage and further affirm the rights of religious students to engage involuntary prayer at public school events and to have equal access to school facilities. We assert the First Amendment right of freedom of association for religious, private, service, and youth organizations to set their own membership standards. We understand that only by electing a Republican president in 2016 will America have the opportunity for up to five new constitutionally-minded Supreme Court justices appointed to fill vacancies on the Court. Only such appointments will enable courts to begin to reverse the long line of activist decisions — including Roe, Obergefell, and the Obamacare cases — that have usurped Congress’s and states’ lawmaking authority, undermined constitutional protections, expanded the power of the judiciary at the expense of the people and their elected representatives, and stripped the people of their power to govern themselves. We condemn the Supreme Court’s ruling in United States v. Windsor, which wrongly removed the ability of Congress to define marriage policy in federal law. We also condemn the Supreme Court’s lawless ruling in Obergefell v.Hodges, which in the words of the late Justice Antonin Scalia, was a “judicial Putsch” — fullof “silly extravagances” — thatreduced “the disciplined legalreasoning of John Marshall and Joseph Storey to the mystical aphorisms of a fortune cookie.”In Obergefell, five unelected lawyers robbed 320 million Americans of their legitimate constitutional authority to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. The Court twisted the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment beyond recognition. To echo Scalia, we dissent. We, therefore, support the appointment of justices and judges who respect the constitutional limits on their power and respect the authority of the states to decide such fundamental social questions.Republicans believe the federal government, specifically the IRS, is constitutionally prohibited from policing or censoring speech based on religious convictions or beliefs, and therefore we urge the repeal of the Johnson Amendment. We support repeal of federal restrictions on political parties in McCain-Feingold, raising or repealing contribution limits, protecting the political speech of advocacy groups, corporations, and labor unions, and protecting political speech on the internet. We likewise call for an end to the so-called Fairness Doctrine, and support free-market approaches to free speech unregulated by government.

Also true. As WSWS pointed out in another article:
http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2016.../conv-j20.htmlThe authoritarian trend was further demonstrated in the focus of speaker after speaker on denouncing Trump’s Democratic opponent, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, not merely as a rival to be defeated on November 8, but as someone who should be put in jail as one of the first acts of a Trump administration.
This is not merely a matter of rhetorical overkill. It is the plain meaning of diatribes such as that delivered by former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani on Monday night and the speech by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday night.
Christie presented a series of accusations against Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, citing events in Libya, Nigeria, China, Syria, Russia, Iran and Cuba, as well as Clinton’s use of a private email server, and each time asking the audience to shout “guilty” or “not guilty.” This performance was greeted with rising applause as well as swelling chants of “lock her up, lock her up.”
Perhaps the low point in this whipping up of right-wing hysteria came when Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon who was one of the myriad candidates defeated by Trump in the primaries, suggested that Clinton was in league with the devil, tracing a connection to Lucifer through the personage of the community organizer Saul Alinsky, a social-democrat (and Jew) who died in 1972.
...
All that's missing is a salute, a click of the heels and a new slogan like, "Hail Trump!"

Except when it accurately describes fascism, which describes Trump and the GOP platform today.
The problem for you is people on the Left have been saying X, Y, and Z is Fascism since the end of WW2. Everyone has been described as Fascist to the point that that word has zero meaning. Bush was called a Fascist, Reagan too, everyone is Hitler!? Now nobody is Hitler.
That was the point of the video, at this point, even if Trump is what you say he is, nobody will believe you, you guys have been calling everybody under the sun a Fascist since Berlin fell.
