Don't get me wrong, I'm not a total push over - but maybe some people can handle that stuff easier, I don't even want to deal with that haha. I mean I moved out, been working since I was 16, but I'm not a badass military type guy, just a 100% worker type guy haha. Full respect for people that could go out and join the military.. shits insane.

I guess I just always saw that sword hand and thought - that persons about to be cleaning some big mess up, or they are going to be picked on for a long time - or something bad in general - I didn't exactly think it's bad just getting yelled at, my Wife can do that - no issues. But when you're having to do like 1000 pushups or run 10 miles, or whatever they make you do with like 1 hour of sleep, and I hear they mess with you too - like you'll basically not sleep for weeks at a time.. just horrible.

It was either that, or it was when I went from seeing a legal adult film store, to coming across a back ally film store, and suddenly knowing the kind of things I didn't want to know existed. Ah, sobering times.

That was only on NBC and usually started around 10-11am in the late 80s.

There was still a fuck ton of cartoons on CBS, Fox, ABC, and NBC (this station faded them out faster) from 6am until 11am. Two VCRs and three TVs were my best friends from 1987-1996.

My brother watched it and I usually detested it but it eventually grew on me.

My childhood ended in 1993 when I was 13. I moved in with my aunt in Flint and was left alone for 1-2 days at a time and took care of myself during that time. Got into a lot of trouble (fights) and close calls ( was living on the bad side of Flint, lol, it was all bad :P ) from mid-1993 until late 1995.

I get this. I think my first totally ballbustingly dull expenditure was paying for new windows in a house. I swear something inside me broke when I paid for it. I already had a house, it already had windows, and new ones sure as fuck weren't on my letter to santa. I'd have been quite happy to wait until they started to fall out of their frames....
