Really makes you think about who actually cares about Americans

Photo op and going there when the governor really wants to spend the resources on doing the job instead of wasting resources to provide security for photo op.

You are right it does show who really care about the americans in this case and i can promise you it isnt Trump as you probably think it does

If Obama goes there what is he going to do that can't be done by sending in professional trained to deal with the situation? What is he going to see that a veteran of flood zones can't see? Why not put all focus on the flood survivors rather then having the news coverage switch over to Obama?

What would me, Obama, Clinton, and Trump have in common if we went there?
The only thing we can do is stand around and look since we don't have the skills needed to actually help out.

Also from what I remember from katrina, people were mad at Bush.... but more so because of the horrible response.

No it hasn't. There has been coverage since it began by all major news outlets in the United States. You can do a simple search yourself to see just how much has been covered. In the 30 seconds I took to go to CNN I found one family has lost 13 homes int he flood and saw a dozen more articles. I also in a few mins found 3 broadcasts from NBC nightly news covering it (including on the 12th). Its there if you choose to look. But some feel the need to stay ignorant in order to play victim or whatever real motive.

You can be assured that as soon as it become advantageous to them they'll report on it.
You forgot the part where Obama is on vacation so drawing attention would look bad on him.

Facts always have a liberal slant. there is a reason the gop candidates claims are 91% rated mostly false or worse when it comes to sticking to the facts. That right there proves that facts have a liberal slant and everyone knows that

He didnt have to go he just needed to cut his vacation short and do a press conference the fact that he said nothing until after Trump called him out looks bad.

Only in Bizarro world it is. But hey, what do I expect from the Trump supporter that has been told everything is shit and that you should vote Trump to make it better.

And say what to the media? The only words that need to be said were said to the people in charge of disaster relief. We as Americans get far too caught in news coverage to the point we forget just how little that news conference actually means.

Trump handed out aid stuff and food for 60 seconds for a photo opp, he's helping those poor Louisianan's sooooooooooooooooo much.

What Trump COULD do is take one of his products that is currently being made in factories in Mexico or China, and relocate that operation to Louisiana. But he won't.

    MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

No wonder Trump wants to send illegals back to Mexico, the Mexicans make all of his products.

And it isn't Trump. He went there for the 49 second photo op showing him "unloading" supplies for people, while the GOVERNOR of Louisiana told Obama, Clinton and Trump to stay out because they couldn't spare resources to close roads, and have an escort for them. They are all on first responder duties. All Trump was doing going down there, was for the photo op and try to look better than both Obama and Clinton, but Cheeto Jesus isn't helping his cause.

He could offer to spur jobs for the local economy by moving operations from China and Mexico, since it's been so completely devastated by these floods.

I don't have time to do a ton of research on it but a quick google search reveals articles such as this one:

    http://rare.us/story/is-the-mainstre...ged-louisiana/

Basically the only help these people are getting is from locals that had the luck to not get caught in the MASSIVE amount of flooding happening, THOUSANDS of lives have been completely destroyed and no one outside the state seems to know/care. This is happening less than an hour away from me, and my god am I proud to live in this state the amount of help that the locals have given each other is worthy of the news on its own, but if the media would have even reported a tiny bit on the issue I'm positive things would be going much better than they are. I will be heading over to help where I can myself, cursing the media the whole way there.

Sorry I know this isn't the most informative post but I am really upset that there's only so much I can do, while the ones that have the potential to make the biggest difference are seemingly ignoring us.
I thought the greatest country on the planet didn't have stuff like this happen, you know, people dying to avoidable things.

Well it certainly didnt help. People were mad, but it was more because of the response... kinda like kicking someone while they are already down.
