A few months ago CoroCoro mentioned that Rockruff and the starters shared a secret. Is it possible that we'll get split starter evos..?

I realize it's most likely the z-moves, but any pokémon can use, not just those four.

I would welcome day/light starter evos although I would rather avoid direct relations (like night always = dark/ghost).

Scratch my earlier post, supposedly the Japanese Corocoro leak discussing Rockruff's secret actually says something along the lines of "Rockruff has a secret, and so does the starters!"

Well, there is the next news from GF/Nintendo on the 14th. Which is the day before CoroCoro releases (technically, GF/Nintendo news is at 10pm JST while CoroCoro releases the next morning, right?). So, I see no better time to drop the starter mid stages than with Sunruff and Moon Moon.

Well, since gen 7 seems to be following the change from gen 4 to gen 5. Gen 8 series will have to be pretty good, so we just need to wait around 3 more years then Ash might win that league!...right guys?
