Hey everyone, so I've been playing windwalker since 6.2, I've gone over different information, from the monk threads here and walkingthewind guides ect.
I have weakauras and keybinds ect. I know I didn't use flasks and potions (I'm broke as) but I did parse really low for my ilvl, so I was hoping someone can see what I'm doing wrong with and if I missed anything. thanks

Hello, I have been on MMOc for ever / have contributed to these forums, though it is now I that is looking for advice. This is a Mythic Nythendra kill. My groups healing comp is a Disc/hpal/rsham and MW(me). I would like any advice as my numbers are fine cause we killed it but I would really like them to be higher. I recently dropped RT and went mana tea due to mana issues. I got the DMF mana trinket and dropped tailoring for the alch stone to help with mana management. So far its seems alright/is working even though im on fumes as the fight ends. I know innervate would help me with throughput for EF spam though they are usually going to our disc. Also, with how much healing emphasis has been placed in EF (now and for our t19) is a relic with that affix almost mandatory?

Link works now. Were you targeted for charge? I see that your Hit Combo fell off a few times during the course of the fight. I'm curious what others say about your logs since I find myself in the same predicament: low parses and nothing that telling in the logs. :/ WW of the same ilevel are able to achieve upwards of 300k and I don't think Hit Combo falling would account for that much of a difference.

On The kill I wasn't targeted with charge, I'll have to make sure my hit combo stays on then. Have more progression tonight, going to try to focus more on rotation, opener and trinket procs, have potions this time lol.

That's pretty much a perfectly executed rotation. Don't know what you need the big icons for Hit Combo and FoF buffs tho, as it doesn't affect your rotation what so ever. I'd rather put icons for CDs so you don't have to look at your bars so closely in a raid setting.
Don't understand your concerns. All your CDs come back at the same time, and you use the top priority spell (same as in an opener).

This was my first heroic kill of Cenarius and my parses are pretty terrible. Using the WCL compare feature I found someone in a comparable situation and am really struggling to understand why he has so much more damage done. Specifically with FoF and SotWL. I was using a draenor potion while he used old War and I was using the wod pvp versatility food but WCL isn't showing it under my buffs so perhaps it dropped. Surely those two things aren't the cause of the difference? Our Hit Combo buffs were both nearly 100%.

I also noticed his ToK damage is significantly higher and I know he used it 4x while I used it 2x, but I was primarily using it around when stomp was going out. Is there some more optimal way to use it in that encounter?

I'm just really stumped at the difference - any insights would be most appreciated!

I feel like I have a good understanding of the WW rotation/priority but think my dps is still lacking on some fights compared to other monks at my gear level. I know I let hit combo drop sometimes due to double spell use or time off the boss, but feel there might be something more fundamental I'm missing. The first week I noticed when comparing logs that I was over Tiger palming energy starving myself and wasting chi on sck instead of blackout kick. Just wondering if there is anything like that im still missing. Any help or advice appreciated

Hi fellow monks, I was just wondering if I could ask someone a question about Mastery. Is it worth going down in ilvl by like 5-8 levels if it pushes my mastery up? I feel like I have lost around 10% by getting to 850, and considering how powerful it is do you think it would be worth the downgrade in ilvl? Many thanks

Im mostly concerned about this ursoc hc kill, felt like i could have pushed more dps but im not smart enough to see where my mistakes are, also is serenity worth it over SEF on fights like ursoc?

Other fights on the log.. well they are terrible i wasnt really in a good focus today for our raid

E: wanted to mention im missing gale burst and 5% fof dmg on artifact but that cant be too huge, there should be still big things to improve on

I highly recommend all of you taking your WCL logs and copying them to http://www.checkmywow.com/. Its a great site created by a fellow MMOC Monk that should help save all of you lots of time by telling you the things you can improve upon. Obviously if you still have questions then feel free to ask or seek more help, but CMW should handle 99% of log analysis that an "expert" would do faster and on your own.

So I messed up my artifact talent path at the beginning, i was going clockwise, but switched to counter clockwise after upgrading SCK and Strength of Xuen. I feel like this really messed me up because i still dont have any points in Tornado Kicks (RSK) and Transfer the power. If I didnt mess up, these would be filled and id be further along(6 points).

MY question is, should I spend the 80k artifact power to reset these, or will it not make that much of a difference? I really feel like i'm missing out on that bonus 25% from tornado kicks

Just keep it as is if u arent doing mythic level raiding, doesnt matter much dont stress over it.

I went clockwise and once i hit lvl 27 i think clockwise pathing is actually better

the problem is i started clockwise , then went counterclockwise from there, so im literally 500,000 artifact power from 2 really important upgrades. I'd say im losing about 30k worth of dps without tornado kicks and transfer the power.
