Our tier set bonuses are stupidly strong, and we have insade synergy with some NH trinkets. So yeah, arms may be one of the best dps classes.

I'm guessing SPs will still be in there even after the nerfs. Mages are also looking good (Fire still looking to be the best overall even after the changes even though Frost looks like it might be better for single target fights).

How are the melee DPS looking? From what I'm seeing, it might be Rets and Havocs with maybe an Ass Rogue close behind? Enh also looking good. Did the Ele buffs make them worthwhile now?
I'm not sure where you're seeing or getting your information, but fire is gutted. I'm really not sure where you think Assa rogue is beating Outlaw or Sub, because it isn't.

Arcane tier bonuses are extremely strong.

Frost single target is theoretically good but man its aoe is not good.

How is Nighthold even, alot of burst aoe and movement?
Because then I might just change from Balance Druid..

    Sooo.. Elemental, Hunter or Mage?

Sims have been way off this whole expansion, but yes, Arcane is looking really good.

Not if (as the OP suggests) they swap to some random new class/spec because it has better theory crafting.

Then they will not be familiar, and be competing against those who are.

Been loving arcane in M+ due to mobile and sustainable decent AoE. Just wish I could get into more runs ...

Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

As melee cleave/Aoe I'd say it'll be between Enhacement shaman and frost DK, aoe Specced havoc demon hunter too, they'll three will be close.
As ranged cleave/aoe I'd say Elemental Shaman.
Melee AoE could go to WW. Finally a SEF fix, so SEF+Bracers could be putting out some damn nice DPS on big packs. Depends how many targets, ofc.. ST, bracers for WW got a nicely sized buff, those without bracers will probably do similar damage t before the patch, swapping Serenity for SEF.

Best joke of 2017 so far, well done!

Agreed. Sims from a computer program running perfect execution and timing on a standstill fight? No thanks.

I have a feeling Spriest will still be top, with the added bonus of S2M no longer being mandatory.

I'd like for BM to be top, but i have a feeling it'll be maybe middle of the pack.

I have a feeling it will be arms in sim, but many nighthold fights will be so melee unfriendly it will end up being a ranged class - probably one of mage, priest or hunter.

If they're not the best spec, the Paladin community will call it unplayable.

It's actually Wowhead, if I quoted directly from Ion the signature would drag out too long.

Sustainable AoE? I know of a certain specialisation of hot flame with bombs of the living and storms of cinder that excel at this. The real question is, how is your ST?

Exactly, have the traits, relics and the like to make AEx4 + ABar work pretty well, can increase the AE to ABar ratio depending on the need.

Also - I said descent AoE, not maximum AoE theoretically possible AoE. The mobility makes it a winner esp with some of the affixes.

Single target depends on the boss. There are 3 or 4 bosses throughout the dungeons that it pretty much sucks on.

The poorest numbers come with 2 or 3 targets.... that's when the numbers go abysmal.

Not sure if you played arcane but arcane has much more reliable aoe than fire and on top of that arcane can do insane dmg on huge aoe pulls. And arcane is pretty good on ST.

I don't get why people suddenly think BM is going to be super strong because the tier is no longer a dps loss but actually good. It will do great on paper and low boss movement encounters, its AoE has always been pretty good but requires the targets to be pretty close together, 10 yards. But where Bm gets problems is that the pet AI is still just as stupid as its always been. Hati is quite dull, not super responsive. Pet travel time is slow. Pets still get stuck on seemingly nothing, or somehow wedge themselves somewhere they cant get back out. Multi target dps like a council fight or boss with adds that aren't tanked within 10 yards is going to be quite low. The spec is also pretty reliant *as quite a few specs* on specific legendaries, like the belt (even with the nerf) and the new coming shoulders ( that give you an EXTRA charge of Direbeast).

As for OP its gonna be Arms Warriors, once they get that crazy Draught of Souls you'll see why. Until its nerfed anyway.

I'm gonna go out on a whim here and say Ret will be pretty good, coz fuck it why not?
