oh and in the manga, Vegeta didn't get a Zenkai boost because he can't. he trained so he can't. some random stupid shit though they did explain that if Gods surpass Super Saiyan God power then they turn into pink, hence Super Saiyan Rose.

I'm going to have to disagree with this. From the 8 episodes or so I've seen of it (that Adult Swim have put out, and yes I will watch the rest as they come out on the channel), I can't quite see what's so great about it, in fact it's been far more irritating than anything else to me.

Phantom Blood is a pretty bland anime. Thats the first nine episodes.

Dio is the only really great part of it


Battle tendency (season 2) and stardust crusaders are much better (season 3 and 4.... or season 3 part 2), more fun to watch, have better characters, and overall a huge improvement. Although Stardust crusaders is much too long IMO (it feels like filler a lot), its better.

Phatom Blood gets a 7 from me... maybe an 8 because its done well, if for the fact that its short. But Battle Tendency gets a 10 and Stardust a 9.

Just popping in to echo Genn's thoughts.

Part 1 is very meh. Part 2 is where it takes off, Part 3 is where it gets good, and Part 4 cemented its amazingness to me.

All of them are on Crunchyroll right now, no dub though, and no word yet on a Part 5 anime last I checked, but the manga is up to part 8. Part 7 I'm looking forward to seeing animated at some point.
