Yes, people are fat by choice. The vast majority of fat people got that way by the choices they made in life. The exception would be the exceedingly rare physical disorder, or small children who are entirely fed by their parents.

All the fat people I know over a long period of time used to be much thinner and they all have "interesting" eating habbits. Or are you saying they have a compulsory disorder of stuffing their face with food that increases their weight? As in: "Obesity is a mental illness"?

I'm not gonna call it a mental illness. But some people have a much more difficult time staying at a healthy weight than others. It's not like all slim people have to be consious of how much they eat. Many can eat whatever they feel like eating, whenever they want to. They don't need to ever go around feeling hungry and it just works. TLDR: Their bodies count their calories correctly for them, while others don't. You don't have to be much off to end up being fat over time.

Well, obesity is generally not a disorder relating to large quantities of food. I eat 2 small meals a day and have done for years, and I'm obese.

Quality is the issue, not quantity.

As for me - I'm unable to address the quality due to a debilitating mental illness.
