Hyperbolic BS, as usual. The new dps gain is far less than the current gains, and it greatly decreases the power gap between higher and lower geared players.

It's only optional if fights don't require it...look at krosus right now, so they're solution after all the complaints and if not evidenced by top end guilds giving up progression was too further increase the grind, well they really aren't getting why people are giving up on this expansion...

Yes, it is putting a cap in.... without actually just, you know, capping it. Seriously, can they stop this bullshit "we don't want a cap" while clearly putting a cap on it? Just put a real cap on, call it a cap, be done with it.

It greatly increases the gap...for example my dk (890 ilvl) would throw aside most upgrades for strength (granted I have BiS leggos) and for ~double my str i'd give up any legendary, but grinding ap more than I already have to? uhh ok.

It also adds even more RNG to DPS/HPS/tank-per-S, which is not something Legion needs, it's bad enough with trinkets like Foci where you can very easily just not get any procs at all for a whole fight.

Because in an expansion already overburdened with too much RNG, what the game needed was more RNG. :/

Only the proc is RNG the grind for 50 traits isn't, unless you count ap rolls/chest items.

basickly there are 2 possible outcomes

1)you are completly f.....ed if you dont farm it off because every group will require bazilion of dps or kicked
2)content will be ultra easy because blizz will tune it with 0 level of concordance

either way outcome will be hilalrious - thx god in nor raiding anymore

Sounds like another player base loss and hiring/firing of people for next expansion.

Also considering that I dont do m raids , im completely fine.

There are better methods to develop a character in rpg game than endless AP grind, WoW is a full time job now.

1. Need to do WQ for chest
2. Need to do random BG for AP
3. Need to win BG for AP/Quest
4. Need to run EN/TV/NH Normal and Heroics to proc leg (5 till now, 4 utility and 1 QoL)
5. Need to do Mythic+ for weekly chest
6. Need to kill all Danger, Wanted world bosses for leg proc chance.
7. Need to farm gold to survive until next raid (BS/Miner)

There is no time to enjoy the game atm. If i won't do this I'll be even more behind others, especially those with BiS legos.

You're truly ignorant if you believe that this 50 point talent is going to last past the Tomb patch lol. It probably won't even last until AK40 is out for most people playing at a competitive level. Truth is, its a damage increase, making it NOT OPTIONAL.

I don't play minecraft, have been in top guilds. what I don't have is 23 hrs to farm AP then raid and hope a fight doesn't require me to have those 50 traits. because on those 3 days we do raid I won't have time to farm the AP required...see the problem?

double your primary stat? have you tried playing with gear equipped? not sure how much i have on my main stats but its somewhere above 20000, by the time where you eventually have these 50 ranks you will be covered in ToS gear and have probably something around 30000-35000

B) It's way better than what we have now.

On a side note, posts like "Ppl don't want to farm more, they want to be done witht he AP farming period." are the reason why a lot of "feedback" is ignored, ideally you should never be done w/ any system that allows character power progressions in an MMO(RPG).

For instance, in WoW reputations and character levels are pretty much irrelevant at this point, everything revolves around end-game, and reputation rewards do not provide any significant power bonuses, although they'll try to address rep issue in 7.2 via paragon system. But gear (ilvl) in general and artefacts (AP) in particular are main power progression tools in Legion, thus limiting them is not the smartest move. Think of ilvl and AP caps as asymptotes of char's power curve, you get infinitely close to them, but "never" reach them. I wrote "never", cuz it's a man-made game so nothing is infinite, unless it resets every now and then, so it's entirely possible to reach both caps, but it shouldn't be as easy as it's before 7.2.

Made me laugh. You don't HAVE to do it, unless you are going for world first kills.
Relax - just because you can progress by doing it , it dosnt mean you should. Do the parts you enjoy. My wife that play much less than I do (very very casual) are almost at same gear level as me, and not that much far behind on AP.
