Am I the only guy who doesn't know who he is? I assumed he was just some throw in, not an actual quality player because the deal seemed so weird with the pats just going down only 8 spots.

"Man, this offensive tackle market was crazy. #Vikings signed LT Riley Reiff to a 5-year deal worth $58.75M. $26.3M guaranteed."

    Rapoport

And he's right. OT making out like bandits. Marcus Cannon must be slightly kicking himself for not going to the open market. He could have been the best player out there and wrote his own check.

If the Panthers had won the Superbowl 2 years back, Ealy would have been the MVP of the game, not Miller.

That's how good he can be. He was mediocre last year though.

Still, we get him for just 8 spots difference and if he plays well, he'll get a monster contract next year somewhere else and get the Patriots a compensatory pick again.

Belichick and Caserio are just ridiculous with this stuff.

Yeah they play the draft pick thing like a fiddle. Not saying they always hit, but it's still pretty consistently good.

But yeah, if he can do one of those play your ass off for a year things to get paid, that's a steal.

These OT contracts make perfect sense for why Elway didn't get any of the good ones, his crazy high contract offers only go to tall QBs.

GB making a move in free agency is the most surprising thing to happen so far.

With the FA o line dwindling, Seahawks better make a move on Lang quick. But I have a good feeling hes gonna turn down the 4.5m the Seahawks will probably offer him.

Cooks to Pats from Saints for 32nd pick, 103rd pick, and 118th pick. (1st, 3rd, 4th).

So maybe there is hope in signing Butler? That or at the very least a single season of Gilmore and Butler.

And all of a sudden, the Lions paying $9M for Wagner doesn't seem so bad of a deal.

Why must teams enable them? I've decided the nfl is basically scripted.

I'm liking the Pryor signing. We needed a WR and now we got one with size. Should help us in the red zone.

Pats gunning for that undefeated season.

You'd think teams would just stop trading with them, right? And the worst part is (well, best for me), the Pats usually end up winning in the deal.

Pats not done dealing, trading for Cooks now using the 32nd pick plus more.

There were times Pats fans felt this way. 2006 screams that out. With even 1 good receiver that team probably wins the super bowl that year. The Bears were a joke. Whomever won the AFC championship game was going to win the Super Bowl. Lol at Rex Grossman. And then we got Moss and Welker the following year.

Can the regular season start yet by the way? The hype is real.

    Ahahaha, it;s even worse.

Patriots trade their 1st and 3rd for the Saints Cooks and their 4th.

    AND

    We keep Butler.

    - - - Updated - - -

Though, this means we win the offseason, right? And the offseason winner NEVER wins the Superbowl.

    God damnit. =/

I'd say they won the offseason in 2014 when they got Revis and Browner and what not and won the super bowl with a new and improved defense. It happens!
