I see someone not move after joining I kick em.
I just kick people I see hovering in the air/sitting in one spot. Problem solved. Not that I need to make groups for simple WQ's, but for some rares on my less geared characters I will.
It happened before flying as well seeing as how the objective areas are usually quite small, but wouldn't surprise me if this became another one of those things people blame on flight in a fit of stupidity.
I used to do this before flying, i do it now. It sucks when other people do it but hey, quest solo if you hate it? Sometimes i leech, sometimes others leech. You can always do it solo or premade whole zone.

I've been doing this since before I had flying. I usually help on most but if my daughter needs something I'll go afk in a group. If you don't like this behavior remove them, or leave group. It's almost to be expected at this point when people have been doing emissaries potentially on multiple toons since the beginning of the expansion.
nothing new to see here. This has been happening since the game began with dungeons and raids.
Who groups for world quests?
^ We're doing a lot of WQs everyday and it is getting out of hand. It's fun to get something out of them, but holy hell they are so boring. Likewise, I don't stay in 'flight' while people do things for me. I have running speed boots and buffs and sephuz and I just grab everything and nuke everything very fast, and done. Then move on to the next WQ.
But I do agree with the OP, people are becoming dependent on that addon, tho' in reality that addon is much easier to deal with as it is automated rather than doing it the old fashion way ....
It's been happening since the beginning. People do it even outside of groups by hitting them with a weak or basic ability/AoE. Nothing you can do about it because Blizzard is hellbent on driving their game into the ground.
Didn't even know this was a thing, but then since my guild jumped servers I've just been doing them solo.
Also if somebody on my faction sees me killing stuff they are free to tap stuff to get credit. Them doing stuff or not doing stuff can only make what I am doing faster or go the same speed it was going to go without them no skin off my nose.
Don't need flight to do this.
Stop participating with the realm hopping grp addon and you wont even know this is happening or feeling robbed when it's happening to you.

Short cutters you want to leech other people and their motivation to complete quest faster while not or barely working themselves who later come to the forums whining when they see someone is taking more advantage of them than they are of the people that they themselves are taking advantage of.

Now my living room center piece and open case HTPC.
Queueing up then sitting there while others finish isn't exactly fun either.

I have seen this a lot in the pvp quest the last 2 months. Thanks to that I have about 30 new ppl ignored or blacklisted through the add on. Oddly they must do it a lot since the add on will tell you when you pass on groups due to them being blacklisted/ignored.
"Privilege is invisible to those who have it."
I do all the AP ones + invasions, ends up being around 10-20 per day. Saving a couple minutes on each one is hugely significant.
I don't care much about the leechers, only run into one every 5 quests or so, it will be a problem if it becomes more widespread, though.
Just saying don't underestimate 2 minutes off of each WQ. The addon finds groups for you, applies, and even leaves the group for you when you are done.
