Except it wouldn't be a huge turnaround if he lost. It would be exactly what's expected.
Agreed that a mod should change your title though. As he's won nothing as of yet. @Edge please

Even if Ossoff doesn't win directly tonight and goes into the runoffs, I think this is a wake-up call for the GOP that people are pissed.
Let's just hope they take the hint.
It seems that the Republican dominated county of this district is the primary reporting at 24%, and put a whole 3% dent in his lead. Meanwhile the county that Clinton won handily in the 2016 election is still only reporting at 1%.

Lol, down to 56.7% already. Sure, he'll probably win, may even get the 50.1% he needs, but OP sure looks like a complete moron right about now. 62% landslide victory...

Lol at the title change. Jumped the gun just a tad ehh op?
WTF? Being president isn't the same as being a 6 year old learning at school. The presidents decisions have real life consequences. Literally life or death. That you would try to say its OK shows just how intellectually and morally bankrupt republicans have become. What next, brain surgery should be done by high school leavers????
So a bit of history about this district, it was held by the old Democrats (pre Southern Strategy) until Reagan, then flipped Republican and has been pretty solidly red ever since.
So basically, it's been dominated by conservatives (regardless of party affiliation) for its entire history. Unless you count its very first seat holder, who was part of the Jackson party.

23% in and Ossoff at 56%.
If this holds up it will absolute panic time at GOP HQ. This is a deep red district that has voted republican in every election for 20+ years. In Nov Tom Price carried it by 23 points. It strongly augurs democrats taking the house in 2018.
It's been Republican since 1979, and before that it was held by John Flynt, who was a part of the pre Southern Strategy Democratic party, and noted as one of the furthest right Democrats of his time. Going all the way back, it's been held by the old Democrats (conservatives) for its entire history, only being filled very early in its history by a member of the Jackson party.
Every single election its been a very very very easy win for conservative candidates. The fact that a race in a district this red is going to be so close should be a pretty big wake up call.

Yup with 1/3 in. Its going to be close I think.
But even if republicans do edge out a win it doesn't augur well for them in the midterms. This is a state/district combination that should be a home run for them. In fact its why Tom Price was allowed by the party to quit the seat to work in Trumps team in the first place, they expected to win the special election without any effort.
