BTW, I served for 10 years in a combat MOS. I did it because I came from a poor family and needed the benefits to springboard myself. I had no illusions about patriotism and being a hero. Frankly, I also left because the way we fight war has changed and I'm not interested in being a "peacekeeper" to a bunch of savages who smile to our faces while holding knives behind their backs.
