I don't think this is necessarily bad. Obviously Trump being the president should have never happened. It's like America ate something rotten and in the process of vomiting it out. It's not pretty, but it's necessary (and now we can only hope it will avoid this in the future). A country like, say, Russia would be the one eating the rotten shit, keeping it forcibly down and pretending everything is fine.
